Hi Nikko, as I said above the workaround looks not very professional. I´d rather prefer a solution using Enfold’s functionality. However I understand that you do not offer that functionality at the moment and obviously have no experienced coder around who has a quick solution to exclude a few pages from the maintenance mode. I hope you can implement this in the future as now – using the Enfold maintenance mode – may turn into an expensive lawsuit in Europe.
Hi Michael, thank you for that proposal. Yes that would be a way forward but as you say it is not very pretty and does not look very professional. Also if people opt-in on the maintenance page I´d like to display a thank-you page on my website which also is not possible right now when maintenance mode is active. As you can see on this support thread a lot of good reasons are given to have an option to exclude certain pages ;-)
Nikko thanks for the recommendation. Yes, that plugin allows to exclude pages but does not allow for an opt-in on the maintenance page in the free version that is why I looked into how to get the page exclusion work with Enfold ;-)
I am happy to test out any code proposal you come up with.Hi Nikko,
that is a pitty because without it the maintenance mode of Enfold is only of limited use as you expose yourself to potential legal problems. And you need to buy another plugin to get this working. Rikard in his answer stated that it might be possible. Even if it is not a default feature at the monment is there some code I could apply which would make it work?Hi Rikard,
common sense would be that if users can not access the site no privacy policy etc. is needed. But this is seen differently by lawyers in Europe. There are discussions that even a blank web-page needs links to legal documents ( as the server that delivers the blank page stores some visitor information). That is one reason. The other reason is that as soon as I have an opt-in form for users to get notified when the website is accessible again or to just send them a goodie while it is closed I do need the legal links to work.
Best regards
DeniseHi Dude, thank you very much, that works as a workaround. Will there be a theme update that covers this?
Yes, I tried both the code block element and the text block – both give the same result and change the code.

DeniseJanuary 27, 2016 at 5:19 pm in reply to: How to add blog meta information to posts designed with the advanced editor #573069Andy thank you for your answer. Yigit, perfect, that element I was looking for and it was missing in ALB.
DeniseHi Vinay,
1. Yes I would like to enable comments on all blog posts ( most already do have it I believe)
I will look into the plugin, thank you
2.So I write the title in the title box
then center align in the text? I did not quite understand this one :(
3. I will give you access again coz I am not really understanding the lingo :(
4. I am not sure
5. I will try but in the past when I added the fullwidth slider above post , it deleted the “leave a comment ” below .Is there a way this can be applied automatically to all posts you know ?Thank you again for all your help
Vinay,
Thank you :) I did it and it worked. I believe I like the 5% better.
My next questions is how do I bring back the “leave a reply” in the footer on the posts that got deleted.
Like the post: dealing with stress and eating healthy as a working momPlease look at the post “healthy school lunches” see how the title is not aligned !
When you fixed the post ” dealing with stress..eating healthy” it seems the title disappeared too as you see in the other posts.
My next question:
How do I clone the optin bar that you see on the page about me to the other pages?Next question:
on posts , is there a way I can add fullwidth slider like the pages and not mess up the margins?I will give you the temp login again below
Thank you
Vinay,
Yes this page: services
Also http://www.bzhealthymama.com/blog
First post: Dealing with stress , etc…
If you click on it, u will see the margins
And the footer “leave a reply” is gonePost next to it: Healthy School Lunches
Margins are ok but title of the post is not aligned with the restPost: ways to get toddlers to eat is the same as the first post I mentioned margins and footer has disappeared
The rest of the posts only the title does not align
Same issue with the “recipes” under “recipe ideas” on the right hand side of the bzhealthymama.com/blog
The titles do not align with the textNotice also when you click on “recipe ideas” box see how the margins are so close to the screen
Where as the margins on /blog is not like that
Under about me : there is click here for my approach same thing with the margins and no sidebars like you see with the posts and the blog page.
Then to the bottom of the about me page there is” want more of me click here” same thing with the margins when you click on that page also no sidebars
Now under the about me and praise page there is the optin bar that I accidentally deleted from the “services” page, is there a way I can clone that on there and on the “blog ” page without affecting margins?
Is there a way that a banner can be automatically inserted in blog posts and recipes on the top like the about me , services, and praise pages without affecting the margins
Below is the login info
Thank you
The person before you replied and asked me to give him the login info which I did
He said he knew I was talking about
Here is the link in privateI don’t understand how to do it
I’m not website savvy !
What login info do you need ?- This reply was modified 8 years, 10 months ago by denisesl23.
Hi
Thx for replying
Here is my site Bzhealthymama.com/blogHere are the snapshots
How can I attach pics ?
I couldn’t attach pics
Anywho if you visit the site u will see what I’m talking about
Margins on About me page are fine
Services page are notPosts some are and some aren’t
Title and text not aligned
Also when I added full width slider on the post : dealing with stress and eating healthy etc…The leave a reply section disappeared
Hey Yigit,
I’m ok without having the black line spacer between the menu and the full width easy slider, but since I added the custom css and had you look at the website I’m having a slight problem. Now any time I create a “custom” separator/whitespace with custom pixel width and try to add an icon it won’t work (this goes for any page on my website). It automatically becomes a thin line that stretches across the full width of the screen.
Perfect! Thank you!
That worked perfectly! Thank you!
Do you know now if there’s any way I can align my footer widget in the right column to be at the same height as the image in the left column? The e-mail optin widget is about 20px lower and it just looks a bit off. Does that make sense?
Hey there,
Yes the columns look like they’re currently centered, but I would like to align the 1st footer column to the right, and the 2nd footer column to the left. Just like you can align text in word document to the left, center or right. I’d like to have that same ability in the footer columns.
September 8, 2015 at 2:06 pm in reply to: How To Remove Padding Above Full Width Easy Slider #499872Hmm. I tried adding that code, but the black line that I had below the menu and above the fullwidth easy slider seems to have disappeared. Did you remove it? I’d like it to be there, but just with less spacing between it and the fullwidth easy slider.
Hey Yigit,
Of course :) Thank you!
