  • Aaak! I tried that and now my whole site doesn’t work… I get this error:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in functions.php on line 54

    I tried removing the code to go back to what it was, and I still get the same error. The idea is great, but I think there just needs to be a tweak or something. Can you please help?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the quick reply! I am using child themes so I tried adding it to my functions.php file but it didn’t work. I just don’t want the change to be overwritten when I update the theme. Do I need to bring over a helper-mastonry.php file to customize as well?
    Thanks!

    Hi Basilis,

    Thanks for the quick reply! Do you have a suggestion on some sort of work around? Is there a way to add these portfolio categories to a widget, or some sort of menu, then fix the widget/menu to the top bar, like the title bar?

    Thanks!

    Here is a link to the screenshot showing the space difference – space is consistent between the two textbox elements, but not consistent between the table element and the text box element.

    That’s a great tip… I forgot about that! Thanks Basilis!

    The fonts just showed up, several hours later. So, maybe there is a delay when the code is changed? Anyway, it works now. Thanks

    Thanks for the quick reply. That didn’t seem to change anything on my end… I’m viewing in Chrome. How can I post you a screenshot of what I see?

    in reply to: Space above Table #615975

    I just solved one of my problems… I changed the (margin: 10px !important;) from 10 to 0 in the child shortcode. That made my table align to the column. I still have that space issue, though, above the table.

    Hi,

    In the Table Element, Table Options, Table Caption, this is all that is showing on my end:
    <h3>Additional Service Areas Near Portland</h3>

    When I view the table element with the code enabled, on the page, I see this:
    [av_table purpose='tabular' pricing_table_design='avia_pricing_default' pricing_hidden_cells='' caption='<h3>Additional Service Areas Near Portland</h3>' responsive_styling='avia_responsive_table']

    When I view my custom table settings in my editor child css, I have this:
    table caption {
    padding: 0 0 5px 0;
    width: auto;
    font-style:normal;
    text-align: left;
    font-size: 21px;
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #2c353d!important;
    }
    div .avia-table {
    margin: 10px !important;
    }

    I can not find the line and paragraph breaks that you refer to above. Also, the table does not align with the rest of the elements on the page… it’s inset slightly. Everything else on the page aligns to the left. How also can I fix this issue?

    Thanks!

    Just commenting again… I solved my problem by “downgrading” back to WordPress 4.2.2! Phew… my site is back again.

    Hi,
    I had the same issue. I backed up my site with Updraft Plus Backup, installed the latest WordPress 4.5, and my site didn’t work. I tried to restore my site using that plugin but apparently the free version doesn’t backup the actual WordPress file. So, my sliders don’t work, google maps don’t work, my accordions don’t work, and several images in the site aren’t showing up. I have not tried updating to the latest Enfold with this file themeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress-theme that was emailed as the latest update. My question: I am using a child theme with customizations. If I update to the latest Enfold, in hopes of fixing the WordPress update, will this cause MORE issues, or is this likely to fix issues? Alternatively I could try to overwrite the latest WordPress with the earlier version that worked. Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi,
    Where can I find that code on the page (that you referred to)? I have the code showing at the bottom of the advanced editor. But, even in that code, I’m not able to see what you are seeing. If I can find this code, I can remove it.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    The space issue doesn’t appear because I moved the table below the accordion element. The space issue happens when it’s below a text block element. I have set up a second page and moved the table back into position showing the space issue. I created a second web page for demonstration purposes as I’m working on the other page elements. Please see the new link provided in the private data below. Thank you!

    Thanks for the reply… however the issue is still the same. The code (both codes given to me) only affect the bottom margin. The space issue seems to occur when the table is placed below a text block element. I’ve moved elements around a few times. If the table is moved below an accordion element, for example, there isn’t a space issue. Could this point to something else? Thanks

    in reply to: Space above Table #606695

    The code appears to only adjust the bottom margin. I made it 10 just to exaggerate the space. The top margin still has more space between the text block and the table, relative the the spaces between the other elements. I am viewing this via Google Chrome. I did enlarge the header font from the default… perhaps this could affect the margin above the table? Below is the code I adjusted:

    div .avia-table {
    margin: 10px !important;
    }

    You can close my support question… I figured out where everything is and how to fix it. Thanks

    Aside from the Quick CSS (which didn’t work) could you please tell me where, in the code, I need to make adjustments so I can affect the button and the title/caption animation? Is this found in the shortcodes.css file or another file? I have Dreamweaver, so I can just find the code and edit that file. Thanks in advance for your help!

    in reply to: Static Text Over Slider #595702

    Hi,

    No such luck on stopping button and text animation when I paste in your code into the Quick CSS (under the General Styling options for Enfold). The Construction Demo uses the full-width Easy Slider… does that make a difference on the animation code?

    Thanks

    in reply to: Static Text Over Slider #594086

    Hi,
    Here is the site that I’ve just started: (in respect for the client, I’d prefer this testing site not be publicly viewable – I’ve posted the link in the box below). I’d like each slide to have unique overlay text and buttons – both of which statically overlay the image (no drop-in or zoom-in motions). Currently I selected the option that just allows one caption display over all slides (but I’d like three separate captions/buttons). I’m using the easy slider. There are no other customizations here to allow unique static text/buttons per slide that I was able to find. Thanks in advance for your help!!

    in reply to: Adding a button to a LayerSlider #593999

    How do I control the action of the buttons that slide in? For instance, I’d like the buttons to be static, over the easy slider slide, instead of sliding in from the sides. Can I do this?
