Ah – thanks for clearing that up. It’s been driving me crazy. So row elements and colour sections go full width (though the content inside a colour section appears to not go full width) and regular columns live inside the boundaries set in the layout settings.
Thanks!

Thanks, Elliott.
October 8, 2015 at 3:21 pm in reply to: Enfold bug laying out text content vs other elements in full-width mode #515855Hi There,
I’m afraid that doesn’t help at all. The heading and text items obey the content width limitations but not elements such as the Blog element. It’s looking like a bug in the theme. Could you confirm this?
September 24, 2015 at 1:06 pm in reply to: Individual height columns don't seem to be working. #508376Hi Andy,
Yes, but if we have two rows of four columns:
AAAA BBBB
AAAA BBBB
BBBB
BBBBCCCC DDDD
CCCC DDDD
CCCC DDDDAnd if column A is set to “Individual Height” then wouldn’t the layout naturally appear as:
AAAA BBBB
AAAA BBBB
BBBB
CCCC BBBB
CCCC
CCCC DDDD
DDDD
DDDDOtherwise what actual visual change does “Individual Height” provide as a setting?
September 23, 2015 at 2:10 pm in reply to: Individual height columns don't seem to be working. #507770Hi Andy,
Thanks for sending the link, but as you can see, none of those columns have “Individual height” per the Row Settings on the Edit Column pane in the editor.
Is it possible that this feature doesn’t work or is perhaps intended for a future release?

September 23, 2015 at 1:20 pm in reply to: Individual height columns don't seem to be working. #507715Yes, I read that, but doesn’t that mean it should behave exactly as I stated when I opened the thread? That the column below it would therefore move up and not be pushed down by the other column next to the one with that setting?
Is it really not possible simply to point me to an example of this feature working? Because I’m starting to wonder if maybe it’s just a bug in the theme.
Thanks!

September 23, 2015 at 12:32 pm in reply to: Individual height columns don't seem to be working. #507678Hi Andy,
It’s not “Section Minimum Height” but the “Individual Height” setting under “Row Settings” in the “Edit Column” panel. It says: ‘Equal Height Columns: Columns in this row can either have a height based on their content or all be of equal height based on the largest column’
My sense is that this is a feature that’s not actually working in the template, so I’d be grateful if you could show me a link to where I could see that feature either fully explained or actually working.
Thanks!

I’d really rather avoid adding custom CSS. Could you show me a link to any example of the Individual Height setting in action? Alternatively, can you tell me any sequence of steps that would show me the individual height setting working? Thus far I can’t find anything that shows it doing anything.
September 22, 2015 at 2:29 pm in reply to: Individual height columns don't seem to be working. #507055Thanks, but why do I need any css code for this? Isn’t this exactly what the “Individual Height” setting is for in the column elements?

September 22, 2015 at 2:07 pm in reply to: Individual height columns don't seem to be working. #507035Hi there,
Alas, that didn’t do anything. I’ve attached a link to a screenshot with an explanation but in essence my problem is that the “individual height” setting for columns isn’t working on my site. Hopefully the annotated screen grab will help.

September 19, 2015 at 10:53 pm in reply to: Images not showing on mobile until reloading the page #505984It’s happening consistently again: if I view either of those pages on an iPad in portrait mode, the images don’t appear. If I then rotate to landscape (or reload the page) the images appear.
September 19, 2015 at 10:51 pm in reply to: Individual height columns don't seem to be working. #505983I’m trying to get the elements on the left side to move up but they’re being forced down below the testimonial on the right even though I’ve set individual height on.
Don’t worry about this one–I gave up and just set the background for the menu area to the same as the main content and set both to fixed.
September 19, 2015 at 10:05 am in reply to: Images not showing on mobile until reloading the page #505902It seems to come and go, which is really frustrating as I imagine similar things will happen to people who visit the site. I’ll see how it goes for a while before putting the site into production. Hopefully I won’t need to switch themes as I’ve been spending quite a bit of time with this one.
Umm…except the header isn’t transparent–it’s solid black. I want to see the pattern from the background showing through.
I got the paragraph spacing issue figured out–it came from pasting existing text into the editor. I switched to the text editor and pasted there then went back to the visual editor and it worked.
Done below. Also, could you tell me why there doesn’t seem to be proper paragraph spacing in text posts? See the link below as well. Even when I put in a manual carriage return I still can’t get natural spacing between paragraphs.
Whoops–I mean, I have a background image set for the site from the Enfolds Customization screen.
Also, I do have a background image for the page.
That just seemed to break it–now the header isn’t transparent anymore.
