June 26, 2018 at 1:01 pm in reply to: Mobile Menu stops working – both on emulator and real mobile devices #977926
Having sent out a newsletter this morning – which results in people visiting our site and wanting it speedy – no I did not! ;-)
It seems odd that it is not site-wide – just on tribe event calendar pages
June 26, 2018 at 10:33 am in reply to: Mobile Menu stops working – both on emulator and real mobile devices #977847Done – and the issue goes away – so one can assume that WPRocket certainly appears to be a contributory factor – but the site speed is vastly improved with it enabled – so I have re-enabled it
I’ve narrowed it to a clash between the theme and WP-Rocket – WP-Rcoket has not been upgraded, but the theme was – if I disable WP-Rocket them it all works again – I have logged a support ticket with them, but this only occurred after the theme upgrade
IT DOES NOT WORK WITH WP-ROCKET ENABLED AT ALL – EVEN DISABLING THEN RE-ENABLING DOES NOT WORK UNFORTUNATELY

Just had two friends check on their devices – it does not scroll for them either – all on iOS devices – so your’s is the only one of 6 tried that works
And I just checked – no scroll on any iOS device – mine or my wifes – on any page
Um – I don’t have any flash on the site – so I do not understand your reply
Cache cleared on both devices and the server – problem persists – iOS devices using both Safari & Chrome exhibit the same behaviour
Thanks – that fixed it – not sure where the other rogue CSS came from
Sorted – many thanks Ismael
Yay – your fix worked – it doesn’t fill the box – but at least it shows now – http://natureslens.co.uk/event/scottish-grouse-photography-holiday-2/ – hopefully Tribe will look into it and locate what broke in 3.8
Hey Kriesi – there appear to be other people on the Tribe forums with these issues – my mistake was doing the theme upgrade and the Events Calendar upgrade simultaneously
Is there anywhere I can grab v 2.9.2 from – to step back a version and see if it is the new theme although I am not convinced it is
Cheers Devin – is there some new styling that is hiding my google map on events – it was there before but is gone now
September 23, 2014 at 5:37 pm in reply to: Oddity when editing home page – does not happen in other themes #323824Devin – should we go back a version or two – again – as this is a nasty bug

Exactly the same issue here – I thought I was going mad until I spotted this thread
July 23, 2014 at 10:23 am in reply to: Mega Menu – three columns then another beneath that spans the width of all three #294844Yigit – thanks for your help – I had a rule in my custom CSS that was causing the wrap – it was entirely my fault – thus, if you take a look now at http://natureslens.co.uk, you will see that I have a line at the bottom of the menu promoting the Bird of Prey workshops – meaning at lunchtime I can remove the fourth column from the menu and have it looking neat – thanks for your help
July 21, 2014 at 10:17 pm in reply to: Mega Menu – three columns then another beneath that spans the width of all three #294053That’s what I tried, mine did not wrap across the three columns, it stayed under the first column and long content stayed under the first column only
July 21, 2014 at 9:50 pm in reply to: Mega Menu – three columns then another beneath that spans the width of all three #294041Yeah, that’d do the job, I want one long link that will span the bottom, I can do that with your look, can you share how you did it, thanks in advance!

July 17, 2014 at 9:11 pm in reply to: Mega Menu – three columns then another beneath that spans the width of all three #292654Tried that – there is a new row, but the new column is tucked under the first row only – it does not span the width of all three
March 20, 2014 at 5:25 pm in reply to: BBPress page for a topic looks different from the demo #240795I really – have no idea what fixed it – I ended up cleaning up my options table as well – and hunting down every reference to bbpress – the forums still didn’t go away – but …
http://natureslens.co.uk/forums/topic/neque-porro-quisquam-est-qui-dolorem/
… it is now working properly in appearance at least
March 20, 2014 at 12:14 pm in reply to: BBPress page for a topic looks different from the demo #240656So – I assume a delta of the plugin leaves the tables in place for BBPress? Are you suggesting blowing the tables away as well? If so, is there an easy way to do that?
I am at a loss – I thought I deleted all the tables, deleted the plugin, but when I reinstall it, there are my existing forums and topics – this is a nightmare plugin

March 18, 2014 at 8:02 pm in reply to: BBPress page for a topic looks different from the demo #239593And here’s the odd thing – on the development server – I just switched to 2014 theme – grabbed the source – ran it through the validator – and
Line 169, Column 6: No li element in scope but a li end tag seen. </li><!-- .bbp-body -->
March 18, 2014 at 7:59 pm in reply to: BBPress page for a topic looks different from the demo #239585Already done that – on bringing it back – it is the same
And I have just done it again on the production and development servers – no change whatsoever

But I just counted the LI tags – and they do all appear to be matched
But digging on – this is not right
span class=”bbp-admin-links”></span>
Full source of the page follows:
But that differs when logged in as an admin user and not – as an admin user the code is properly formed
And that reports the “No li element in scope but a li end tag seen” error message
I am happy to provide you with a URL to pull the zip for use with WP Clone down from – so that you can replicate this on one of your boxes with just the theme, the content and BBPress installed

March 18, 2014 at 6:48 pm in reply to: BBPress page for a topic looks different from the demo #239526OK – this gets odder and odder
Clean development server – install BBPress – create a topic – display is fine
Pull down clone of site – with only the BBPress plugin in it – no other plugin is installed on this site – display is messed up
I have checked – no custom styles in use in Appearance – I cleared them out
March 18, 2014 at 1:27 pm in reply to: BBPress page for a topic looks different from the demo #239320Disabled virtually everything – and the problem still existed – the only plugin I did not disable was tribe events calendar as that is critical to our site – but then I did briefly disable it, but still no change – exactly as before
March 15, 2014 at 1:11 pm in reply to: BBPress page for a topic looks different from the demo #238017OK – BBpress reinstalled (over the top) – no change – so I removed BBPress and installed it again from scratch – no change
The formatting is still really off
