Ok, I follow what you’re saying Josue, But I just want to create a simple parallax like this. http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-restaurant/
I uploaded the demo on my test site and it has helped.
David
Hey Josue,
I understand that. I think where I’m lost is building it. Meaning, am I creating a “single” slider show and putting multiple pictures in it and applying the parallax effect? Or, and I creating multiple sliders and putting their short codes on a single page?
It’s really a bit confusing and I’m not getting any real answers here. Just bits and pieces. I’ve done a parallax google. Most people seem to create it using code etc….It’s not done that way with the Enfold theme, that’s great but if there’s not documentation to give better information on how to create it. And if no one can give a bit more detail from the support team, then it’s kind of pointless. I don’t mind investing the time if I can see so type of result but there seems to be too many questions and not enough answers.
Very frustrating,
David
Actually, is there a document or something you guys have made as to how to to this in the layer slider? Reason being is. I’m not wondering if I just create a single slider with the parallax effect and then move to another “single” slider and put the effect on that and then another “single” slider with the effect on that and then take all of there short codes and put them on the page to create the total effect or do I great everything I want in one big parallax slider and use it’s short code?
So, some kind of documentation explaining more detail would be very helpful!
Thanks again,
David
Hi Ismael,
Ok, that makes more sense to me. Is there anything else I need t know or look out for? Or basically, just set the parallax on any “slide” layer that I want it on?
Thank you so much!
David
Ok, so I tested the parallax effect. And It seems like you drag multiple color sections into the content area and then select either parallax. fixed or scrolled.
But! Whenever I select parallax. It blows my picture image up very big!! I’ve even scaled them down thinking I just had them too big. But even with that, whenever I select parallax, it blows the picture up!
Any ideas why?
I’ll keep testing. Maybe it’s something I’m doing.
David
Elliott,
I follow you on that. I think where I’m still a bit lost is. When there are multiple pictures and or videos involved. How are they all used to create the parallax effect. I drag a color section on to a single page, put a picture in it and select parallax for that picture. But what about the second, third and forth pictures etc….on that same page.
I do drag a second, third, forth, fifth color section onto the same page and select parallax and the effect is greater or must I go some place else or do something more.
I’ll keep testing to learn more.
Thanks,
David
And I repeat this step down/on the same page? And it will create that movement effect?
Never mind, I resolved this one! Yea me!!
Hey Andy,
You were right. It’s a plugin. WP Rocket a cache plugin is causing the problem.
Hey Andy,
I’ll give that a shot. However, it was working with plugins. It stopped when I added the Javascript from my Get Response email form. Are you suggesting that the javascript may have messed with a plugin?
Yes, it is a javascript error. But, I removed it and the problem continues. It’s on this home page.
