Seemed to work, but put the buttons on the images rather than below.
Image 2 basically which is a fullsized image,.
Any idea how to make it go below this?
This reply has been marked as private.Yes, that is what I see too…….
Id like to MOVE the toggles on the upper right to CENTER below the image / carousel section.
The carousel has the buttons / arrows / circles in the TOP RIGHT, I’d like them CENTER and at the BOTTOM.
I’m not sure if that makes sense?
I did a rudimentary mockup / visual.

You shouldn’t.
The two carousel toggles in the top left of the carousel widget.
I’d like to move them to the bottom, below the images and centeredhttp://gyazo.com/3b7638b887616b3333e314792e56095e
Let me know if you need more info.
Works perfect. Thank you!

Only CSS changes are in the style.css and the enfold quick CSS section.
Not too sure what you changed, but it moved the search icon back into overlapping the logo.
Hi Rikard,
This is the view I get:
http://gyazo.com/4b69918a7d0db07e010a18ad3e9360c8I’m not too sure what you’re seeing, but the search bar, when you click on the search icon is being cut off significantly. Thats the only issue here, everything else is perfect.
This piece of code didn’t seem to do anything.
Is it interfering with other code maybe?http://gyazo.com/a4170f4623867822b99e14e9c41d1041
When you click the search icon, the drop down is significantly cut off on the left.
This is what the bar looks like: http://gyazo.com/906cabb0840372c2fadbcf82c44dd72f
It’s cut off a pretty good portion when using mobile.
I’ve tested this with iphone 5 and an ipod with the same results. The location of the search icon on the nav is okay.
Also, just to note.
When you click the search icon via mobile (even though its overlapping the logo) the search box drop down is significantly cut off by the screen dimensions.Any fix there?
UPDATE
Please ignore the issue about the cart icon overlapping with the mobile menu, we have removed the icon using code from another support topic:
#top .cart_dropdown { display: none; }The main issue is the search icon overlapping with the logo during mobile widths.
ALSO
Would it be possible to have that cart icon / a cart dropdown in the secondary nav (the one above the main navigation)? Having the cart dropdown was pretty cool (when it was the icon) however it doesnt fit well with our layout. If possible we’d like to have the same / similar dropdown effect in the secondary nav.
Thanks again for all of your help!
Hi,
The above code made the search button show up, however it severely overlaps the logo when on mobile navigation.
The cart is still being covered by the mobile menu as well.Is it not possible to have the LOGO – Search – Cart – Mobile Menu all lined up appropriately when on the mobile menu for any smartphone size?
I’ve tried the look using google chrome with a base view of Iphone 5. The other views show the search button properly, but the cart is overlapped by the mobile menu.Examples:
http://gyazo.com/aaa3cdbad5cc2f2bb613352845c2e758
http://gyazo.com/14900762c78f2fe9f29056a4003789fdWe’re definitely getting close to where we want to be with this, but it’s just not there yet.
The mobile menu worked great, but I cant get the search button to work properly. It doesn’t show up at all at lower resolutions / mobile size.
ALSO I found a new issue, when you bring the page to mobile size, the cart icon that is displayed is blocked by the mobile menu button. Not sure if it’s because of this code or not.
Fixed.
I got the buttons to show up by updating the theme.
They have a gradient overlay though that I cant figure out how to turn off.

Updated theme.
White overlay issues still persist.
That code changed everything to red.
Would I just edit this code to match my theme?Font Color: #adadad
BG color of box: #292A2C
Border color of box: #161616Not sure which plugin is doing this unless its an official one from woothemes such as woocommerce subscriptions.
October 27, 2014 at 6:49 pm in reply to: Blog Issues – Comment box & missing information on comment submission issues. #341670The issue is ALMOST fixed! :)
I have been able to move the text to the left, however the only issue now is that when I go to type my name or email into the fields, the “Name” and “Email” text does not disappear….What I’m talking about:

September 3, 2014 at 5:55 pm in reply to: Changing ordering of Blog Post categories (masonry layout) #313032Sorry, I’m not too good with PHP.
If you could help it would be greatly appreciated.
Even if you could show me how to sort my categories using “This Title First” “This Title Second”.
The link you posted just shows how to order Ascending or Descending or Random.
I would like to have the items sorted according to the previous post.I looked at the other documentation (provided in the link on that page) and I could not figure out how to set up the ordering.
Thanks for such a quick response! You guys have been great!
June 9, 2014 at 5:02 pm in reply to: HR element not recognizing spacing / breaking site layout after update. #276463That code fixed my issue.
The issue was definitely caused in a theme update, as I’m running an old theme on a different install and the margins were not there.http://hackjacketdevs.wpengine.com/privacy-matters/infographics/ (hosted on WPengine) (running an old theme, hjdemo is the U & P)
Inspect element doesn’t show any margin, so this must have been recently added in a theme update.I’ve since fixed the issue and my HR elements are showing correct spacing

June 6, 2014 at 6:13 pm in reply to: HR element not recognizing spacing / breaking site layout after update. #275721Both pages did not have the ShareThis / AddThis plugin showing up as we had uninstalled it.
The pages (Privacy Matters and Hacking Matters both show the pluginPrior to updating the theme, the social media icons would line up with the main page title perfectly using a 45px whitespace.
After updating it is clear to see how off they are.I apologize for not updating this thread on how I had changed things.
I’ll leave everything on those two pages specifically. My thoughts are that the 30px default whitespace is causing the issue, as it was never misaligned before.
The same goes for the homepage, the signup for early access text was ORIGINALLY 20px of whitespace, it is now -10px. (Which of course would equal 20px)
I’m wondering if we could just remove the default 30px whitespace, might fix things?
Thanks for all of your help thus far!!
June 6, 2014 at 5:53 pm in reply to: Sidebar not changing to custom sidebar / Always showing "Pages" "Categories" etc #275705Perfect, didn’t know I could do this!!
Thank you!
June 5, 2014 at 5:43 pm in reply to: Sidebar not changing to custom sidebar / Always showing "Pages" "Categories" etc #275239Sorry for gravedigging this, but since the recent updates with the theme I’ve lost this in the sidebar.php.
Is there a way to place this code in functions.php of the enfold-child theme so that I never have to run into this issue again???Not entirely sure how I would do this, but it would definitely save the headache of having to go through and change it every site update.
Thanks a bunch!

June 5, 2014 at 5:28 pm in reply to: HR element not recognizing spacing / breaking site layout after update. #275234This wasnt an issue before the theme update.
This section:
http://gyazo.com/5e18e1ade6d12796b49f7529dae8ac9aHad a 20px whitespace before the update and it was aligned perfectly center, now after the theme update this changed to look how it looks in the photo.
I have used whitespace in A LOT of places on the website (400+ pages) and I don’t understand why I’d have to re-do every whitespace I’ve set up previously because of this.
I do understand how there is a 30px margin, which makes sense I add -10 to the whitespace of this
http://gyazo.com/5e18e1ade6d12796b49f7529dae8ac9aAnd it aligns perfectly.
Is there a way to remove the default margin? as it’s clearly effected everywhere on my website.
Thanks.
June 4, 2014 at 7:19 pm in reply to: Page formatting causing text overlapping & poor layout on mobile site. #274672This works, it was a plugin bwp minify that was causing the issue.
The font you have showing there was not the “oswald” font that we had wanted, which cause other issues. Thanks for your help!!!
June 4, 2014 at 7:02 pm in reply to: Page formatting causing text overlapping & poor layout on mobile site. #274651Not too sure what you mean by needing me to remove the inline styling in my LS Layer options.
I removed the styling from the code
<div id="oshead" style="line-height: 110%; font-weight: bold; font-size: 75px; color: #ffffff; text-align: center;">PROTECT <span style="color: #ff6600;">YOURSELF</span></div>
and made it simply:
<div id="oshead">PROTECT <span style="color: #ff6600;">YOURSELF</span></div>
This just caused the text to a lot smaller and not formatted properly.
If LS is meaning layerslider, I do not use it.Hopefully this makes sense to you, I’ve tried to add the code you provided to style.css of the child theme, it doesn’t seem to work.
I understand what your code has done, making the text size change from 80 to 42 on mobile, which should solve the issue, but I’m not sure why it’s not working at all for me.

June 4, 2014 at 4:41 pm in reply to: Page formatting causing text overlapping & poor layout on mobile site. #274550Sorry website ran into some issues yesterday with our hosting.
Site is back up.http://gyazo.com/7b2374431a8359627e96aeb5b212b576
That is how it looks on the ipod. Its like that code isn’t doing anything.
I put it in the style.cssJune 3, 2014 at 11:09 pm in reply to: Page formatting causing text overlapping & poor layout on mobile site. #274297The logo fix worked perfectly for me.
The fix for the text using
#oshead { line-height: 110%; font-weight: bold; font-size: 80px; color: #ffffff; text-align: center; } @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { #oshead { font-size: 42px; } }
Did not work. It didn’t seem to change any of the text characteristics at all. I checked via my ipod as well as resizing on the computer. Both yielded the same results.
Your image of the “protect yourself” is exactly what we want though.
