I’ve been in contact with my host and it looks like this was trigger a modsec rule – they have whitelisted this and it is working normally again. Thanks for your help in getting to this point.
I recreated the page on another server and disabled all plugins and still got the same error when the ‘include:’ string was used here (or elsewhere for that matter). Seems like something has changed somewhere as these pages have been like this for many years now. Doesn’t appear to be a plugin issue as all my plugins are deactivated on this server and I still can’t edit a page that contains the string ‘include:’ for some reason.
It seems to be the colon at the end of the first line that is causing the issue from my testing – see details below in private.
I’ve created a new page and have found that I can get it to work if I remove a text block that is within a 1/2 column – see details in private
Here are the login details below:

I”m having the same issue. I had to manually update it to v4.2 last year as I wasn’t able to get the auto update to work. Now when I go into the Enfold > Theme Update section it says:
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.2)
However when I click the Check Manually button it says there is an updated for Enfold:
You have version 4.0.7 installed. Update to 4.2
Very confused at this point – is there a reason why the 4.2.1 update is not showing and why it thinks I have v4.0.7 instead of 4.2?
September 4, 2017 at 9:25 am in reply to: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden) #847605I’m also experiencing this – just checking to see if anyone has found a solution for this so far?
When adding text blocks on a couple of pages I click Save then Update and immediately get a 403 error. Doesn’t happen on other pages so not sure what’s going on here.
Hi Nikko,
I’ve just tried making the changes from that post (wasn’t sure which one you were referring to, so tried changing the memory limit and going back to an older backup).
I’m still getting the 403 errors unfortunately – I noticed at the end of that post that they were still experiencing the problems even with higher memory limits and no plugins enabled. Sounds like something else is going on here?
thanks
Hi,
I disabled the security plugin as well as the theme checker plugin and still having this issue. I can’t save the text block with this particular content for some reason?
Any other ideas to try?
Thanks
Try adding a new text block with the following content (private content) and then saving that – this is when I see the error. You can see I’ve started one already (2nd last text block) but haven’t been able to save it. If I type a few words then update the page that does work most of the time but not when I paste in these paragraphs and update the page – 403 error.
Please find login details in the private content. Seems to happen most when adding text and pasting in a few paragraphs of text then trying to update the page.
Thanks – that makes a difference but it’s still covering the logo in the top left corner. It it possible to prevent this?
Thanks – that’s working well so far.
I’ve just setup a new admin login as below:
Hi,
I’m not sure which “plugin author” you are referring to here?
I’m just using WordPress with the Enfold theme and writing a blog post and setting some text to “performed” as the style in the editor. I don’t believe I’m using a plugin for this?
thanks
Thanks,
If I do this and activate the child theme I’ll loose all my theme settings.
Is there a way to do this without loosing all my existing settings?
thanks

Much appreciated.
July 22, 2014 at 4:47 pm in reply to: Testimonials – 3 Columns – Getting Truncated on iPad Portrait #294438Hi,
I’ve tried on both Safari and Google Chrome on my iPad. I’ve reset all growing data – I’ve made some other changes to the page which are appearing so it’s definitely getting the most recent version of the page.
Seems to only happen on an actual iPad device.
thanks
July 22, 2014 at 7:42 am in reply to: Testimonials – 3 Columns – Getting Truncated on iPad Portrait #294213Hi,
I made that change but it doesn’t change when viewed on the iPad.
If I use a browser on my Mac and resize it to the same width as the iPad in portrait mode it does resize the columns, but it’s still truncated on the iPad itself.
Any further changes I can make?
Thanks – all sorted now.
It looks like my hosting company has enabled all PHP extensions in the cPanel login, so it’s hard to know which ones were not previously enabled as I didn’t pay close attention to this.
I have managed to resolve this by enabling some PHP extensions on my hosting account.
I’ve increased the max_execution_time to 240 – still cannot active/preview the Enfold theme. This is with a standard install of WordPress 3.9.1 with no plugins installed/activated or any other themes.
I can activate/preview the Thenty Thirteen, Twenty Fourteen and Twenty Twelve that come with WordPress, I just cannot activate/preview the Enfold theme that I purchased.
Help!
I just checking using phpinfo and it’s already enabled:

http://sitedomain/wp-login.php
and enter my details and click login which then looks like it redirects to:
which just shows up as a blank page. Really strange.
Hi,
Have just renamed the plugins folder – unfortunately still not able to login.
Anything else I can try? I’m running WordPress 3.9.1 FYI.
thanks,
