UPDATE: restored the site from backup, but still unable to get into the Avia editor :-/ (that shows the critical error, but at least only visible to admins).
February 24, 2021 at 6:37 pm in reply to: Problems with Enfold in combination with WordPress 5.6 #1283486Hi Victora – thanks. Having a bit of a nightmare with this now.
I’m using a child theme, so I’ve updated the parent Enfold theme manually via FTP, but now getting the Critical-error-of-doom message on the domain (as detailed: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/critical-error-on-your-website/)Changing the name of my plugin folder made no difference. I’ve enabled debug mode which has captured the output below. It’s not really what I expected to see TBH but it means I’m not quite sure where to go from here.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Dan**debug.log file

February 17, 2021 at 6:47 pm in reply to: Problems with Enfold in combination with WordPress 5.6 #1281856Thanks – but I’ve installed the plugin, set it to the legacy version. But still nothing appears when trying to edit content. Any ideas? (Pretty sure it’s not the cache as that was my first thought…)
thanks, DanFebruary 17, 2021 at 4:45 pm in reply to: Problems with Enfold in combination with WordPress 5.6 #1281797Hi there – having upgraded my version of WP I have the ‘blank page on edit’ issue as described here. Is the fix still this same plugin please?
best
Dan
EDIT: I’ve since rolled the site back to 5.5.1 but the issue persists. Which is a bit annoying!- This reply was modified 3 years, 9 months ago by danno99uk.
Hi Victoria – adding the H1 manually really isn’t ideal. Which php file is responsible for generating ‘standard’ pages that have been built using ALB?
The ‘which template’ plugin always display ‘template-builder.php’ which is clearly not what we’re looking to edit, but surely there’s a way to pull the H1 so that it’s in the ‘template-page content’ area?
thanks

Thanks Ismael – completely overlooked the Grid Row element, which seems to do exactly what I wanted! Thank you!
DanHi Yigit – sorry, it’s because I re-used the reset tool.
I’ve reset the DB, updated the theme and re-adding the account (same details as you’ve just tried). Have another go, but I wasn’t getting any joy….
thanks
Hi Rikard – thanks for the reply. Yes I’ve tried wiping everything and when I try again I get the message:
“Import didn’t work.
Please reload the page and try again”.What do you think?
thanks againThis reply has been marked as private. Thanks for the reply Ismael – in short I was wondering about changing the size of this ‘post image’ type as it appears on this page
http://www.sandfordawards.org.uk/blog/
Currently it’s set to ‘small’ but could it be amended?
thanks
DanThanks for getting back to me so quickly!
DGreat, sorted! Thank you for the support, much appreciated.
DHi Devin – yes I removed my css changes that was making the logo larger on the smallest break-point (because it was cropping)..
It seems to me that several people are not happy with the very small size the mobile phone breakpoint is causing and have trouble with ‘cropping’ of the larger image after they have written CSS overrides. It would be useful to have some documentation about ‘how to make your logo bigger (not get squished) on mobile phone rendering’. That’s the crux of it really.
thanks!Dan
I was seeing some other strange things too and I disabled by WP super cache and the menu DOES show now. So that was clearly to blame – “designprime”, might want to check if you’re using any caching plugins yourself.
The other points are still salient however. Seems like alot of people are having ‘cut-off’ logo problems, it would be helpful to have a bit of documentation around the logo and the changes that happen at the mobile phone breakpoint, and it seems to shrink things overly OR cut off bits of people’s branding image.
dThanks Yigit – I’m already using 2.6.1, in fact this problem only start after I upgraded yesterday (although the carousel was always iffy).
I can provide a admin logon if that would help?
DanThat’s sorted it! Thanks for the support!
dHi Devin – thanks for the reply. The background color *is* set at white. It doesn’t matter what I change it to, IE just ignores it.
It’s fine in Firefox and Chrome so it definitely looks to me like an IE ‘bug’.
Thoughts?
thanks, DanThank Josue, here you go screengrab :
