Thanks. Works like a charm.
Problem is in Firefox for Android, v 41.0
See screen grabs below. Should be black background instead of b&w hands image.
Thanks.Problem is in Firefox for Android, v 41.0
Hi Yigit
I am running 3.1.5
Still no caption in FEATURED IMAGE of BLOG POSTS. Thanks. Thanks Andy. Please read the content of my messages to save us both time:
The captions appear in portfolio items without a problem. The link you sent me is the one I sent you, for a portfolio item, to show you that they do work.
The problem is for FEATURED IMAGES in BLOG POSTS. For example here: http://schlachten.org/2015/05/13/displaced-2015-artists/ Please click on the first image. No caption appears in lightbox.
Again: how do I activate caption in lightbox for FEATURED IMAGES in BLOG POSTS?Dear Elliott
The caption, alt-text, and title are set. The problem is that the caption, even though it is set, doesn’t appear in Lightbox.
This issue is unique to the blog post featured images. You can see that on other images on the site – for example in the portfolio item below – the caption does appear in Lightbox, as it should:
http://schlachten.org/de/artist/christa-panzner/So, how do I get the blog post featured image caption to show in Lightbox?
Ok. I’ve fixed it with
.av_seperator_big_border .av-main-nav > li > a {
min-width: 0px;
}Please, next time when introducing an upgrade, at least offer an option to keep styling the way it was.
Thanks!
But the option for the ‘large separator’ which is what the theme used before you introduced this new option, now uses a larger margin for menu items…
Can I please have the same margin you offer with the ‘small separator’ in the ‘large separator’ option? I like the way my menu used to look.
See same links as above.
Thanks! Thanks Ismael. That seemed to do the trick. Resolved.
Hi
I’ve solved the ‘home’ / ‘startseite’ issue, removing them using CSS to hide the 1st element of the breadcrumb list.
The problem I still have is with the German language version of the website (WPML):
In ‘Enfold (DE) Theme Options’ there appears no “Where do you want to display blog?” option. If I use Appearance > Customize to select ‘blog’ as the blog page then the option “Use the advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout” in Enfold (DE) Theme Options > Blog Layout, is ignored. This seems to be a theme issue?
Thanks
I’ve managed to set the blog page option in the German version, via the Customizer. However, this ignores the “Use the advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout” in Enfold Child (DE) Theme Options > Blog Layout
And I still get the ‘homepage’ or ‘startseite’ showing at the top of breadcrumb list.
Thanks
Hi Ismael
This only works partially. In the English version I now have:
home / blog / news / Filling-in the Space
When it should be:
blog / news / Filling-in the Space
In the German version I there’s no “Where do you want to display blog?” in Enfold > Theme Options
It still reads:startseite / Der nächste Schritt
Thanks
Thanks! Fixed.
Sorry for double posting.
Works. Thanks Yigit!
Theme updated. Now running 3.0.8. No change. Same problem.
Perfect. Thanks Josue.
I’ve updated to 3.0.1, which as far as I can see is the latest update available via theme-update, but the problem persists.
The problem appears to be in Firefox – Chrome and Safari display the AJAX pop-up correctly.
ThanksThanks Yigit. Will do when I’m done with current construction, if bug persists. Using Chrome for now.
Thanks Ismael. That didn’t quite do what I needed it to.
Solved it using a ‘top: 50%;’ on .avia-slideshow and a ‘translateY(-50%)’ command on the .avia-slideshow-inner.De-activating plugins has no effect. This appears to be a Firefox specific bug. Not a problem in Chrome. Thanks.
And a related question:
I’ve been looking for a third-party thumbnail gallery slider, but can’t find one that works well. Either they slow down the page-load, or they require a separate image upload and don’t use the image gallery thumbnails, or they screw-up the page layout, or their back-end interface is buggy… Basically I’m looking for a thumbnail gallery, with a featured image slider, and a play and pause button. Can you recommend a good one that works well with the theme?
Thanks.
Many thanks Ismael.
Lovely. Works like a charm. Thanks!
Thanks Devin! Solved.
Many thanks Yigit. Nice one.

You’re right that the CSS for both is the same – the problem, as far as I can see, is that they are placed in different divs:
#advanced_menu_toggle
measures the position from the edge of the page content width, while#advanced_menu_hide
measures it from the edge of the screen. I have no idea how to edit the html to re-order this in the simple way. Nice solution.June 9, 2014 at 10:42 am in reply to: Fly-out menu formatting, transparency and screen size. #276382Thanks Yigit
Unfortunately that solution just throws the menu-toggle icon completely off the screen.
Cheers.
