Ok, found it was the PHP memory limit causing the error. Up the limit to 256m, installed just fine. This might help someone else who is having the issue.

That worked!
You might want to consider adding that bit of information to the snippet in the documents. I spent all morning reading support threads and that little bit of info was no where.
