November 25, 2016 at 3:37 pm in reply to: Weird gaps and pagination problems with WooCommerce grid display #716893
Hi Nikko
The white gaps you indicated in your image were not what I was referring to.I was referring to the fact that the thumbnail grids, when full on one page would not populate the bottom right-hand corner location and push content onto a new page for just one thumbnail. This should be present on the previous page as there is white space there for it to go.
I have given marked up images and page links in the private content for you to see what I mean.
November 23, 2016 at 2:47 pm in reply to: Weird gaps and pagination problems with WooCommerce grid display #715964Hey Nikko, I removed the line of code from app.css, as advised by you (reply #715509), and this has cured part of the problem with the white gaps where thumbnails should show in the grid. Yay! But now I am still left with the odd behaviour of the bottom right corner thumbnail not being populated and thumbnail content being pushed onto a second or third page.
This I think may be due to either the WooCommerce templates or the custom selector above the product thumbnail pages not functioning correctly.
I know you guys don’t support Customised Sites. So I think it is time to get someone from Codeable involved or another Freelancer who knows Woocommerce and Enfold very well.November 23, 2016 at 2:42 pm in reply to: Weird gaps and pagination problems with WooCommerce grid display #715959Andy, as far as I know, the website was created by our Developer and had W3 Total Cache deactivated all the time. The problem (I presume would have been checked by them in following your suggestion at the time it first occurred) it had no effect to the outcome. Deactivating all plugins is not an option as certain ones are essential to the proper functioning of the website, as code will rely upon the presence of them to correctly render the thumbnails (I presume).
On the ‘live’ site you viewed, you will see that WP Super Cache has been installed and activated (but only recently). The Enfold recommended W3 Total Cache does not play well with our Host’s server set up apparently, so they recommend WP Super Cache. A re-install of the full site was made a couple of days ago. The re-install was made WITHOUT a cache plugin active or present. The problem was still present. WP Super Cache was installed yesterday and the problem still remains. But, I think it is to do with the code related to the category selector bar above the product thumbnails and how it selects and pulls in the products and categories to display – created by our Developer (who has now washed their hands of us, and refuses to carry on working on it).
I know you guys don’t offer support on customised sites, so I can see i am going to have to get someone from Codeable involved.

My apologies, we migrated the latest version of this site from the developers server and the CMS login was different.
It is now correct so you would be able to login with the given credentials.
I will attempt to remove the code as advised to see if it has any effect.
Are you sure this white space issue is related to that and not the out of date WooCommerce templates?November 22, 2016 at 6:38 pm in reply to: Weird gaps and pagination problems with WooCommerce grid display #715499Hi Andy, it depends when you took a look at the site.
This situation in the thumbnail layout has presented itself with the plugin de-activated and activated, so i can probably say in my limited knowledge that it is not related.
I personally think it may be due to the fact that 3 of the Woocommerce templates are in need of updating, or the code our Developer wrote for those pages is corrupting the page layout. It certainly looks like it is related to product categories, and particularly when there are more than one page of products.Compare this

November 20, 2016 at 4:43 pm in reply to: Weird gaps and pagination problems with WooCommerce grid display #714539I can see this is something I will have to ask a developer to do, as I am not confident in doing so, (or know how to, to be honest) If I have to re-install WooCommerce, dont I lose all my data, products, categories etc?
You didnt mention about 2 templates being out of date, so i am not sure if you actually looked in the backend at all.October 28, 2016 at 5:52 pm in reply to: How to create square images in Posts – Featured & Single #705373Rikard
you may get a server error as this site is on a development environment, but i have posted it in Private Content anyway. The post in News has a square image for instance, but when you view the single post it is cropped to a letterbox size and you only see the square image if you click on the image to enlarge.- This reply was modified 8 years, 1 month ago by craigriches.
October 27, 2016 at 9:42 am in reply to: Megamenu column header title – how to link to a product category page? #704755Hi Ismael,
We have come across this issue before. I think it is because our developer us has the website on a “development server” with certain security measures in place. I checked myself this morning and it can be temperamental, after several attempts, it finally accessed the webpage without timing out with that server error message.
Anyway, I have managed to fix this issue now, so please consider this sorted. :)
It was to do with the way the MegaMenu works in Enfold. We had to set up a “Custom Link” and the copy the URL for the Product Category page into the field for the link.Perfect!
Thanks Yigit

Worked perfectly!
October 22, 2016 at 11:47 am in reply to: Adding breadcrumbs question for Products and Categories #702797Hi Nikko
Sorry about that, must be because it is a development website and requires log in to access.
Anyway, I tried the code in the link you provided (including the !important for Quick CSS)
Sadly it still didnt work. I also made sure to clear the Cache.
A link to a screen shot of the product page in Private ContentOctober 20, 2016 at 9:27 am in reply to: Adding breadcrumbs question for Products and Categories #701755Nikko
your experience of 500 Internal Server Error could be that this is because the site is located on a “development” server.
I have just tried again myself with that address and they both load. Could you try again?
I looked at the link you provided, but this seems related to standard WooCommerce set up and not using the Avia Builder, or am I mis-interpreting the instructions?October 18, 2016 at 8:57 am in reply to: Utrecht designer needed for Enfold/Woocommerce site build in Dutch. #700469Hi Derrick, I read your post here, and whilst it was some considerable time ago, i wondered if you were still working on a freelance basis with Enfold. We are in Amsterdam with an English based business. We have a partially finished Enfold custom site which needs professional completion. Please get back to me if you would be interested.
September 13, 2016 at 9:43 am in reply to: Create a new size for image display in gallery element #685602I will know for sure when installing it in our customised theme on the live development site. :)
September 12, 2016 at 6:59 am in reply to: Create a new size for image display in gallery element #684904Hi there
I tried the plugin on a locally hosted install of Enfold, and it does actually give you the option of adding NEW sizes as well as modifying the existing ones. So it looks like I can retain the option to have the default sizes as well as custom ones in the gallery.September 10, 2016 at 1:37 pm in reply to: Add grey border back to Enfold Gallery element thumbnails and large image #684496Hi Yigit
Thanks for the reply. Sorry to be a bit dim, but can you specify the full path I should look for, because I have searched everywhere and cannot file the app.css file in any subfolder called css.Can anyone tell me what the code should be for having the standard border and colour as in the Enfold Demo for the Gallery element with big image above and smaller thumbnails below. I want to achieve this again having removed it earlier, so would like to “put back the default” as it were.
like these – see link
September 8, 2016 at 11:55 am in reply to: Create a new size for image display in gallery element #683630Hi Ismael,
Before I follow your instruction. Can I just confirm then, that installing this plugin and adding the thumbnail sizes I mentioned in my original support request, then regenerating thumbnails (via the regenerate thumbnails plugin, I presume), the new size options will appear as selections in the Enfold theme Gallery element for choosing – like the others do currently (see attachment)?

September 1, 2016 at 10:55 pm in reply to: Menu icon/item has bumped onto the next line below the Header for some reason?? #681045Andy try scrolling down the page. the item is white and its very likely you are viewing it on a white background at the top of the page. As soon as you view it over an image or something you can see it there.

August 29, 2016 at 8:36 pm in reply to: Menu icon/item has bumped onto the next line below the Header for some reason?? #679136Hey Basilis
No new plugins or anything, please see my link to a screenshot to show the Contact Icon/Item that has been shunted onto the line below.
I have noticed if you shrink the width of the web browser it will reach a stage where the Contact icon pops back to the Menu header. If you keep going it will disappear again and then if you keep going it will reappear. You can also check out what works and what doesnt by going into the Develop menu of Safari for instance and then choosing Responsive Design Mode from the drop down menu. This is more extensive than Google Chrome. You can also see that iPad 2 will display ok with the Contact icon, but if you choose iPad Pro, or 1958 x 1410, 1410 x 1958, 2560 x 1959 or 1959 x 2560 the Contact icon shifts place.

Is it possible to change the border style of the toggle icons from square to circular, with a solid colour background and the cross or minus remaining white?
Sad to report, code applied, but still no change. :(
I have removed it again now, because when applied it caused the “Contact” item in the Menu Header to disappear.- This reply was modified 8 years, 8 months ago by craigriches.
Yay! I was beginning to think I was going mad. :)
Thanks for the suggestion, I will try it out.
fantastic! thanks very much.
Hi Andy, emulation is not the issue, because I can do the same using developer modes and not see the problem. Try using an “actual” device rather than an emulator/developer mode such as a real iPad or iPhone or Android device and let me know what you see. I and several other people have used a real tablet or phone and can all report the issue I refer to. The screen shot I took was taken from capture on the iPad itself not from within an app or browser emulation.
Hi Ismael
regarding screenshots, see my link in Private Content of iPad taken todayI will advise our developer of your suggestion for the CSS mod for the “OnTap” menu, as what you mention is a bit too “tech” for me :)
That’s really weird, I have tried to clear cache and refreshed several times and still see the same thing with a clipped off top of the hat. Can’t argue with what you see though from your screen shot. Guess I’ll have to live with knowing that others see something other than me….
UPDATE: just checked on a friends iPad and they are seeing the same clipped icon, so it seems you are the only one able to view the icon in total.
- This reply was modified 8 years, 8 months ago by craigriches.
only problem I have seen now is that on tablet & phone view, the top of the chefs hat icon is still getting clipped off. Looks fine on Desktop view.
Weird thing is, if I use Developer tool in Chrome or Safari to emulate iPad or iPhone they both show fine on screen, but if I use an actual device the icon shows as clipped at the top. Any ideas?
Also, how to I reduce the padding either side of the icon? There appears to be some invisible vertical line or something either side. I would Ideally like the separator lines either side of the icon to extend closer toward the icon, like the others I have on the page. -
