    Hi Rikard,

Thanks for getting back to me :-)

I had a bit of a meltdown with them since I had been with the company since 2008 so they made a bit more of an effort and this is what they wrote back to me. A lot of it is double dutch to me but I will check the plugins. I suppose my concern was that I recommend Enfold to all my clients so I didn’t want all the sites failing! Is what they are telling me correct? I haven’t had trouble with any plugins with any other hosting service and I have a lot of sites I manage. DO you have any suggestions?

    ——————————-

I have checked this further and found that the plugins installed under
the account are using up all the CPU resources assigned to the account,
    resulting in a blank website.

Checking the logs, it only showed the following :

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
    10321 craftyan 16 0 260m 65m 40m R 37.2 0.4 0:00.38
    /usr/bin/php /home/craftyan/public_html/index.php

As it is a wordpress website, it is hard to track the exact file/plugin
that is causing the problem. We have thus renamed some of the plugins
and while enabling them one by one, we found that the website started
working when the following plugins were kept disabled :

    woocommerce-exporter
    woocommerce-product-slider
    woocommerce-smart-sale-badge
    woocommerce-xml-csv-product-import

Also as we enabled the other plugins, the website slowness also showed
up. So it is clear that the plugins installed under the account are
using up the resource. You are requested to login to your wordpress
admin panel and make sure that the plugins are all up to date.

Also do update the wordpress version. This should help optimise the
application and improve sites performance. You can then enable the above
plugins. These 3rd party applications are known to have such issue if
    not kept updated.

Please let us know if you find any problem.

Just letting you know my host came to the party and seems to have restored the website thank goodness. Do you still need to optimize the template? I don’t know.
