Hi Jordan,
This is one of the pages – https://best-alzheimers-products.com/product-category/root-catalog/alzheimers-products-by-stage/products-for-early-stage-alzheimers. All category pages display the same. The CSS that removed the content of the sidebar, but not the container, is:
.woocommerce.archive .content {
width: 100%;
border: none;
}
.woocommerce.archive .sidebar {
display: none!important;
}Thank you.
John
Hi,
This thread is really old, but the suggested CSS does still
remove the side bar. Is there a way to, then, make the content of the page full width instead of displaying only blank side bar? https://prnt.sc/terz4lThank you,
John

Hi Rikard,
The two screenshots were from two different child installations on the same site. When one didn’t work I tried the other.
The “enfold theme” name happened when I had the two theme versions installed with different names. I should have thought to change that back, but when I did, the child theme still didn’t work.
I tried again to install the child as you described, but still couldn’t get the theme and the child to recognize each other, so I did the smart thing. I deleted all enfold from wp-content>themes on the server and installed the zip files from Appearance>Themes. That worked; theme and child are now playing well together. And looking at the files, they are now installed exactly as I had them when the child theme didn’t work.
The next time I do this it will be on a much busier website. This was good practice for that.
Thanks for your help.John
Hi Rikard.
I spoke too soon. I had only tested the theme, but had not yet loaded enfold-child. Since I see this ticket is not yet closed, I hope you will see this addendum. I installed the enfold-child folder two ways (https://prnt.sc/rnvpcg & https://prnt.sc/rnwb5x). Both ways I get a Broken Theme error in Dashboard > Appearance > Themes (Dashboard > Appearance > Themes). I am now running Enfold v. 4.7.3
Thank you
Everything seems to be working very well, Rikard. Please close the ticket.
Thanks again for your great support.
John
Thank you, Rikard. It took some playing around, mostly because I am not practiced in these things, but I did get it updated.
Hi Mike,
Jordan’s solution was exactly what I needed. Thanks, the issue can be closed.
Best
John
Perfect! Thank you Shanon.
Hi Jordan,
The site is http://www.best-alzheimers-products.com. Footer on every page.In the first footer column the date shows well, but the post title is barely visible.
