I tried deleting the .htaccess file and uploading a fresh theme file via FTP.
I also tried refreshing the permalinks, but many of the dashboard pages still give me a 404 error.
There are no active plugins currently installed.

How do I delete the .htaccess file?
Also, do I need to follow these steps in this order? If so, I can’t because the Plugins page on the Dashboard is still giving me a 404.

Thanks for the quick reply, Elliott.
I was able to gain FTP access and update the theme that way so the slider is back up and running.
Unfortunately, I’m still getting a 404 error when I try to access certain parts of the dashboard, specifically, Appearance > Themes. Any ideas there?
