    Hi and thanks, that worked! We tested different kinds of combinations and when we also turned of the Delete old CSS and JS files, could combine js files with the caching plugin without breaking anything. So, will keep the caching plugin as it also has site speed optimization features and it’s developed by the hosting company. Thanks again for your help!

    Hi Nikko,

    Thank you for getting back so quickly. Once you’ve looked at the problem, can you tell us what caused it. Maybe we can avoid this happening in the future.

    Sorry for the late reply, but have been really busy. Yes, a couple of days after I last wrote to you, the buttons magically looked normal again. Didn’t do anything and if you didn’t do anything, this is a mystery, but now that they look normal again, this thread can be closed.

    Hi Victoria,

    This affects all avia buttons on all pages. They look truncated and the positioning is always left at the front end even if some have been centered or right aligned.. For some reason, I’m seeing them as they should be at the back end. Another person who logged into the back end, saw them truncated there, as well. Here are the screenshots:

    Hi,
    Did so. The plugin Embed Code was causing the page margin problem at the top of those two pages.

    None of the plugins nor switching to the parent theme affected the buttons. I even uploaded the theme again. A couple of days ago we also tried restoring a backup going back before the date when this happened, but that didn’t help, either.

    Also noticed that the buttons rows don’t show up when I right click and inspect. It looks like all buttons appear small size on the front end no matter what size has been set to them.

    Will do so. Please let us know what’s going on.

    in reply to: Breadcrumbs bar – Reduce height and move text to left #1110518

    Hi Victoria,
    Yes, I always purge cache when I make a change. Made the change yesterday and on Bing it was instant. Been checking the site at least once an hour today. When I checked it just now, the change had happened. Good old Google is just slow… Thank you once again! This can now be marked solved.

    Hi Victoria,

    While this produces the desired result on Microsoft Egde, it doesn’t seem to work on Google Chrome. Is there something that should still be added?

    Thanks, that was the reason. The Layout Builder works for pages, but not posts. Recreated the post using default editor and problem solved.

    Thanks, yes, this problem got solved, so the thread can be closed.

    Oh, this thread can be closed. I realized that increasing the element size makes the closing x available and then the element can be deleted.

    Thanks Rikard,

    That moved the breadcrumbs to the left, but the container size didn’t change nor did the padding go away. Can you think of anything else?

    That didn’t work, either. But I got them centered and yet this didn’t make sense to me:

    I used the css from you documentation:

    /* Center align columns inside color section*/
    #av-center-align-columns .entry-content-wrapper {
    display: -webkit-box;
    display: -moz-box;
    display: -ms-flexbox;
    display: -webkit-flex;
    display: flex;
    -webkit-flex-flow: row wrap;
    justify-content: center;
    }

    It didn’t work with having only the two 1/3 columns in the row, but when I added the 1/5 column before the two, it centered the two. And it didn’t matter whether I used the actual name of the color section “instant_search” or the example name “av-center-align-columns” in the css. Anyway, discovered this by accident and they’re centered now :).

    Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it didn’t work, either.

    Hi Rikard,

    Padding won’t work, because the elements have borders. Adding a 240px left margin to the 1/3 left element would work, but I’m having problems coming up with the correct css to do so. The custom css class of the column is “spokeo” and it just won’t move whatever I try.

    in reply to: Page tops hidden under header on mobile #1061357

    Wonderful! Thank you so much, Jordan! That did it.

    Hi Victoria,

    Thank you, but unfortunately that didn’t work. The logo vanished altogether. The logo is an .svg file, but when I changed it to .png, it showed up correctly without adjustments. So, don’t .svg files work anymore with the theme?

    Also, I have been trying to make the header with the burger menu sticky on mobile, but none of the options I’ve found in the support threads work. So far I’ve tried these five options:
    All starting with the @media only screen and (max-width:767px) {

    .responsive #top #wrap_all #header {
    position: fixed;
    }
    }

    .responsive #top #wrap_all #header {
    position: fixed !important;
    }
    }

    #header {
    position: fixed;
    }
    }

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .html_header_top.html_header_sticky #header {
    position: fixed !important;
    }
    }

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .html_header_top.html_header_sticky #top #wrap_all #header {
    position: fixed;
    }
    }

    None of the above work. Is there still something else I could try?

    in reply to: Old sidebar widget title style flashes on page load #1009764

    Unfortunately they’re not visible on mobile. Therefore, on the mobile post category pages look dull and uninteresting. Yes, there’s a small thumbnail on the left on desktop., which makes one wonder why the theme doesn’t have the same size featured image on the post category pages as on the blog posts page (the main page with exceprts). We all know images attract attention and arouse interest. A picture speaks a thousand words.

    Now the mobile page has just text and your answer gave me to understand there is no easy way to add the images there. More people are browsing the Internet on their mobile phone than on their desktop or laptop these days. The post category pages are very important as a directory of blogs. It’d be nice to see in your future version that the category pages would have the same style images as the blog post page. That shouldn’t be too hard to do and it would make the pages look consistent.

    Thank you for a great theme. It’s quite versatile and allowed me hastily put together a decent website.

    Thank you! All css modifications are now in the child theme’s style.css. Still see a minor flicker. Not sure now, if some of the header css is causing it. Will check my css there.

    I have an additional question regarding mobile. So far have only three categories, a fourth one coming up soon. On the blog page and individual post pages, the featured image shows nicely. However, on the category pages, there is no image. I’m using the single author big preview image layout. How can I I make the mobile show the same nice image as the blog page is showing on the category pages?

    in reply to: Old sidebar widget title style flashes on page load #1007306

    My screen recorder didn’t work, but I had somebody record it for me.
    Attached is a link for you to see what happens on Google Chrome.
    On Microsoft Edge, only the logo flickers, everything else looks fine.
    On Mozilla Firefox, everything looks fine.
    Is there any code that would fix how the theme performs on Chrome?
    Thanks.

    in reply to: Old sidebar widget title style flashes on page load #1007134

    Sure.
    The resizing on the blog body was happening even before adding the widget, so that is not caused by the widget. Maybe something in the css? The blog pages are the only pages where we have the sidebar and that do this.
    The widget is an affiliate link. Is there a way to fix it and keep it or does it have to be removed?
    Please let me know what is going on as we are ready to start marketing.

    P.S. Thank you for building a theme that is fast and converts beautifully on mobile.
