    Hello Ismael,

thanks a lot for your response.
I added the php-zip package on the system. Interestingly enough it did not have any effect at first.
Only after restarting the web server I was able to upload the fonts.
    Kind regards

    Hello Rikard,
thanks a lot for your answer.
I tried to upload Open Sans, so that it will not be fetched from Google. But the above error occurred.
Unfortunately I can not give you admin access, since this is a corporate site. Currently we switched the font to “Lucida Sans”, which works for now.
Do you have some hints, how to investigate this?
We could not see any issues in the web servers (error) logs.

However, I took a look again and reaslized, that this is an ajax upload error in framework/js/avia_media_wp35.js, which indeed caused a 500 error:

    “POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php HTTP/1.1” 500 990 “https://netknights.it/wp-admin/admin.php?page=avia” “Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64;
    rv:73.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/73.0″

In the browser developer tool I see this:

    Request:

    Host: netknights.it
    User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:73.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/73.0

    Content-Length: 2773
    Origin: https://netknights.it

    Response:

in reply to: Can't get rid of google font loading #961518

I would also like to avoid reloading fonts from googleapis.com. This way the user’s browser connects to google. The IP address of the user is a personal data, which we would then pass on to google. We would have to cover this in our privacy policy. I do not want to do this.

I would like to download the google fonts and be able to host them myself.

So I would like a checkbox:

[ ] Do not use google API
    and a configuration options:
Provide the URL, where the google fonts can be found: ____________

    Thanks a lot

I found it. Actually I needed to view the excerpt and edit the excerpt. Enfold will display either the excerpt of the post or the first X characters.

    See http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-customize-wordpress-excerpts-no-coding-required/

    Hi Ismael,

thanks a lot for the quick response.
Where do you recommend to add this snippet?
As script somewhere in the footer?

The other thing is, that actually one blog post (the right one) displays the complete abstract till the <!–more–> tag while the left one does not.

    Read-More Tag

Do you have any idea how this could have happened?
    Thanks a lot

    Ok, I will investigate.

But one thing totally anoys me:
Can you tell me why ALL sidebar definitions in enfold are GONE when switching the theme and switching back?
THis is a desaster to me. I have to go through the complete site and reassign sidebars!!!

    I consider this a bug!
    How can I avoid this?

in reply to: Search result page empty #640439

    Hello Josue,

ok. I checked with the 2016 theme. And indeed the search does not work with the default theme either.
So obviously this is no issue related to your theme.

But if you have any additional idea, I would be grateful to try it out.

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Josue,

thanks for the quick reply. This is interesting.
If I am searching in the german page (switch with the little flag at top left side) I only get one result from the main page.
(You can also search for privacy)

    Thanks a lot
