ONe more question. On mobile view – 1024 x 700 px, how can I get the main entry title to be centered vertically? Right now it’s slipping below the first color section.
Jordan,
That’s a start but now the icon is off center. How do I center it?Thanks!

Is there documentation somewhere about all the possible filters?Link and user login information in private content.
THanks,I was trying to change everything – nothing worked. But I created a new child theme and then it worked for me. Not sure what the exact problem was.
Thanks.April 30, 2016 at 11:54 pm in reply to: Body Background color and Page Content color interfering – please help #625186Josue –
I think I figured out the problem. Appeared to be a misconfiguration of a child theme. The child theme was completely overriding the style settings. It’s strange though – usually in a child theme I can still use the theme options to change the styles on the fly.Yigit,
Maybe you can help me with another site. For some reason I’m not able to make style changes to the site. At first I thought it was a caching issue but that plugin is uninstalled. I can’t change things in the child theme css or from the theme options menu. Site is located in private content.
Thanks,
GJordan,
Sure thing. Details in private content.

Did you get a chance to figure this problem out? Seems like nothing that I edit outside of custom css is registering as a change. For example, I can’t even change the width of the page.
Please help.
Thanks.
April 27, 2016 at 9:58 pm in reply to: Body Background color and Page Content color interfering – please help #623363I know it can be overridden with CSS but it’s annoying and just happened out of the blue. Also the page is supposed to be 1440px wide and looks like it’s more like 1100 px wide. Very strange. Backend access in private content.
Thanks.
Maybe I have a much bigger screen than you? I’m viewing on a 27 inch monitor. At that size the logo doesn’t fit in the header. Check out my screenshot.
Hi Vinay,
Looks good in Chrome but not so good in Firefox. Can you check?
OK – new admin user created. You can deactivate all plugins and add custom code if necessary to resolve the issue.
Thanks.Hi Vinnie,
The site is a live client site. The custom css is in private content.
Thanks.Hi Basilis,
Yes – I figured it out – but try minimizing the page. See how the logo gets too small and slides way over to the left? Can you help me with that?
Thanks,

Hi Vinnie
That doesn’t really work – can you take a look on your phone?Hi Vinnie –
Not sure why I forgot about the section id approach. That’s good, but I’m still having a problem. Look at the private content.
Thanks,
GabeOk – here’s the information.
Just be careful – the site is finished except for this.Yigit –
That makes sense, but right now they aren’t working. Test them yourself please. There’s no other way to use anchor links on the site?
Josue –
That will work from any page? Like I can link to the anchor that’s on the services page from an href on the home page? Please confirm.
Thanks.That’s great! very helpful.
Thanks.Thanks – one other question.
On the division site, how do I set it up so that the columns don’t overlap each other on the responsive pages? Look at the home page and then minimize the screen a bit. What I want is each column to shrink accordingly at first and then when there’s not enough page space, the current issue preview (first column) should be the first item and the second column the second item.I have tried using the transparent header but then the logo and menu doesn’t stand out quite enough. Can I add increase the opacity on the transparent header?
Thanks Yigit.
One other question –
how can I have the full screen slider that doesn’t crop the top off of photos. Look how the washington monument is cropped on a large screen.February 10, 2016 at 4:36 pm in reply to: How to remove the menu item left border just on the home page. #581220Thanks!
Hi Dake,
That still doesn’t do it. I’m trying to change the color of the text logo I created so when I scroll down and the background becomes white the font of the logo changes to black. Thanks for your help.
