I have tried your solution, it does not work – in fact, it is making the problem worse on all sorts of screens.
I have had to remove your CSS code as it was worse off than before.
Please can you guys sort it out asap we have a very angry client?

Thank you for your response. Please see details below.
Just to note, I tried again this morning to link the text on one hotspot and it linked correctly, however now a pop up saying “background request blocked” keeps popping up, whether I whitelist the action or dismiss it the box still keeps popping up (This has happened before on other sites I have worked on which also initially gave me the linking issue.
