I have tracked down another of my sites that has the same problem. Looking at the Safari’s Inspect Element it displays this list of errors. Hopefully this might help?

I appear to have exactly the same problem. I have deleted the old parent copy of Enfold and uploaded a fresh copy but any of the pages refuse to show the Avia Layout Builder.
I have other sites that use the Enfold them, but they display the Avia Layout Builder perfectly as normal.
I have also tried using the parent Enfold theme instead of the child theme, but that hasn’t displayed it either.
Any other ideas?

Thank you for spelling it out. For the record you didn’t actually say this before, but it’s fairly crucial.
” it’s not possible to display the content in the blog overview page if the post is built using the advance layout builder. ”
It’s a shame, but thanks.
Hiya,
Sorry this isn’t what I am looking for.
I just want to see the content of the post displaying in the blog overview page – currently it seems to be hidden.
As far as I can tell the only way to see the actual post “Recent Pastel Paintings” is to click on the heading or Read More links.
All I want to do is display this post (created using the advanced editor) along with the others.
OK?
Hiya
I have tried it for other posts, but it refused to do anything other than the READ MORE link. So I replaced them with normal entries.
Perhaps you have misunderstood? I would like the ALB POST to display on the blog along with all the others, so hiding the Read More link only hides the line of text rather than force the images to display.
Maybe it isn’t possible to show the CONTENT of ALB in the blog posts?
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for getting back to me. No I haven’t managed to fix the problem. I just hid the post so it couldn’t be seen by any visitors. I have re-published it lower down the page: http://colinwalton.co.uk
If you scroll down to “Recent Pastel Paintings” you will see the post that is using the Advanced Editor. Also displaying the Read More… link which I want to replace with the actual photos!
This is what the post should look like without having to click on “Read More…”

Thanks for your help!
April 7, 2015 at 12:33 pm in reply to: Configuring Previous / Next buttons for Portfolio items #424594Hiya, no worries. I was thinking it would be possible to write an if / else code that displayed the first one of the portfolios if there no others to display?
Now I know where to look I can have a go myself.
Thanks again!
April 2, 2015 at 6:59 pm in reply to: Configuring Previous / Next buttons for Portfolio items #422719Brilliant thank you!
One last request though…
Could it loop round? so that there are ALWAYS buttons on BOTH sides. So that you never get to a point when you can’t click on next?Sorry to be a pain!
That’s a good idea. I didn’t think of that – thank you!

Any other ideas?

Thanks.
Really? how odd. I have fibre optic broadband so would have thought it would be the same speed as you would have there?
Thanks for trying anyway.
Hi Ismael,
Thank you that looks much better. The important thing to stop was all the zooming which has now been killed.
What now happens is that all the pictures load in turn starting small then enlarging to fit the space. Is there a way to ease the opacity in slightly so softening the effect a little?
I am used to images loading instantly, so if there has to be a delay I would like it to be as subtle as possible.
This is the test page I am using it on. http://id.waltoncreative.com/upholstery/
I have taken off all my other CSS styling and only put on the script below:
.avia_transform .avia-gallery-thumb img.avia_start_animation {
-webkit-animation: none!important;
-moz-animation: none!important;
animation: none!important;
opacity: 1!important;
-webkit-transform: scale(1)!important;
-moz-transform: scale(1)!important;
transform: scale(1)!important; } /*as sent by Ismael to stop the animation of the slideshows when loaded / rolled over*/Thanks for all your help!
Hiya,
I’ve tried this but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. I want to get rid of ALL the zooming when the pages are loaded or the images rolled over or clicked.
http://levickjorgensen.com/brochure/
When the page loads each image does a zoom effect, which feels a bit too gimmicky for this client.
Any other ideas?
Hiya,
That’s much better. THANK YOU.
Is there anyway to stop the zooming effect on load as well?Colin
Great thanks will give it a go.
Kind regards.
ColinBrilliant thanks!
I tried with no link but that refused to let me add the menu item altogether.
Sorted.
Hiya, thanks for your suggestions. I have uploaded the four screen shots to my iCloud site so you can see them here:
https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#A3GJDfWGG0VNhqThe series of screen shots show the widths I am trying to reduce (in green)
Yellow and pink tints denote where the appropriate tighter column widths would be, (less small column gaps of course).
Here are the pages they are derived from:Two columns
Three columns
Four columns
Four columns 2I am looking for much closer columns with perhaps only 20px gaps. But have a feeling it will entail a lot of changes to the Avia CSS!
I hope this all makes sense!
Colin.This reply has been marked as private.Hiya, that’s great thank you.
Having done a search it appears in two documents:
shortcodes.js
and
avia.js
Do you know which is the one I should change?Kind regards
ColinThanks for getting back to me. I have managed to do it in the end. I have added manual links to the portfolio pages instead. It didn’t take that long after all. Have a look at the menu on this:
Thanks again
OK thanks for going to so much trouble! Perhaps it is only a very small percentage of potential clients that would be using such an ancient system.
Kind regards.
Sorry, here is a link with a page that has the same problem:
http://client1.waltoncreative.com/index.php/portfolio-item/candles-catalogue-design/
Remember it is on windows XP and Internet Explorer 8. Up to date versions a probably correct.
Thanks
UPDATE UPDATED!
I see this isn’t the perfect solution as it doesn’t allow the visitor to click on the image and have it enlarge in a popup.
Any other alternative ideas?
