Ok we need an official fix. There are plenty of users with the same issue after 3.6 update. Kriesi please help us. Thanks.
C1- I was hoping to delete media gallery by gallery but edit gallery just spins never allows edit. If the edit did show up can I delete the gallery pics there as well as from media?
2- How does Enfold decide when to start a new folder? If I create galleries on different days will that do it? Or is it by month or some other criteria?
ThxThanks Josue. Will this remove images or only affect uploads moving forward?
Also- what happens if you do not organize by date? Does everything go in one folder or unique folder for every upload?

CliffordWell, what determines when Enfold decides to start using a new folder to store images? Date uploaded? Month? Something else? If I could understand how to preventt so many files going into one folder that would bee a help.

CWell if you test one let me know. I do not have the skills to repair things if a tool messes things up.
CIs there any way to split the distribution of the current images on the backend so I do not have <20K files in that one directory?
Actually appears files were not deleted yet but Masonry galleries are all broken now- can you assist?

CSG has 150K file limit per dir and said they would not delete without communicating first. I am counting on them being helpful and understanding if I ran into that situation. I feel like SG would actually try to help with the issue. Time will tell- thanks again- you guys are also awesome!
CWell now my host has deleted the contents of the directory. This blows. Looking for another host it seems most limit file count per single directory. Why does Enfold need to create extra files?? If anyone knows a host that can deal with the file numbers Enfold creates let me know.
CI never uploaded that many files- there are tons of duplicates and different sizes I never created. Enfold has something to do with it I am pretty sure-

CliffordI wanted to get elements added to top without having to drag them from bottom after inserting. If you simply click the element at the top and hold it- then drag to the area below you can drop it right at the top- make sense? The element boxes are capable of being dragged to the page with click/hold/drag/drop.
CI have been using portfolio posts combined with tags, categories, and portfolio grid. There are some things lacking as far as the portfolio grid is concerned but is working ok, thanks.
CElliott I just discovered all you need to do is drag and drop the elements! How did you miss that one?? :)

Ya seems to have worked. I do not get the nifty animation but the galleries load all the time. So will those 2 quick codes stay across theme updates or do I need to keep them handy? Will these things possibly be addressed in a future theme update?
I am really impressed with the level of support and am grateful for the support team and user base here. Makes ALL the difference. I will 100% look towards you for future themes and recommendations to clients.
CliffordI added the code and did the 1st item “define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’);
do i need to do the other 2 items in the list for php and .htaccess files? (i did 256M in wp_mem_limit)
seems to work (less animations)

thxNo change. Clear cache, turned off -all- plug ins. The rollovers are working I can see but the images never load unless I scroll the page down first then they load. Thx. C
Thanks. No change. The site does seem to run a little faster in some respects though so I def did not need those plug ins activated.
CThere is a “testimonials” block on the MUSES page- you have to edit the page/testimonial block to see the issue. Thanks!
