Why do you have to do it by code when the option is directly available in the settings panel?
Because i am using a custom endpoint that does nt function well when this option is enabled !
Are you planning to change the default query? If so, then just insert the additional parameters in the related products filter without changing the default query.
i am not sure i understood this :(

Ive seen it yes .. i am hosted on Dreamhost with managed wordpress
my subscription is 1.5gb ramive noticed that the website consumes around 1 to 1.3gb when no visitors are online and when i am not editing any post or pages
only when i start editing a page, the avia builder (ALB) consumes around 200 to 250MB then about 10 minutes later after i update a page, it goes down to the normal ..but sometimes, it spikes and the site crashesi have noticed that sometimes the memory usage under same conditions (no visitors and no edits being made) is very high around 1.4gb
this is weird and confusing .. why would it be 1gb and sometimes 1.4gb under SAME conditions !!!!

they said the most spikes come from the Avia Builder
it only happens when i try editing a page or post or product (i use advanced layout builder) this task takes around 225 MB of ram when i engage in itthey also mentioned that on idle mode, when no one is visiting the site, and when no editing is engaged , it consumes 1.6GB
i wonder if that number is logical .. i have around 27 plugins (4 of them are only very very minor acting as a php code)
the rest are not too abusivei have 270 registered users on the site (do they make a difference?)
maximum visitors per day is 150
at the same time visiting : 8 max . most of the time its only 1 or 2 based on google live analyticsany advise or insights @Rikard ?

i know this is an old post but i am facing a similar issue with my site going 502 only when i try to edit anything or when i am in admin area trying to manage the site backend (plugins etc..)my host is saying that it is an issue with my theme and there is a vast amount of resources that is being used which results in spikes and site crash !
i have been struggling with this .. did you find out what causes the problem and fix it maybe ?

We did .. and it kept crashing !
After we did database optimization, it worked perfectly for another 3 weeks then when i was editing a page again, it crashed due to ram getting maximum peaksOnly when i edit something (page or post) the site crashes
DreamPress say i should contact you, the theme, and they said the theme is causing this !Any idea ?

Thank you for answeringI cannot enable the option in WooCommerce settings as i am using a php code for that purpose !
So the problem is that instead of showing an out of stock item, it is showing a blank result .. i want it to show a result of in stock items rather than just blank !
If that is not possible, then how can i globally change the setting for the “related products” to show products by date order (newest first” this way we will not get the out of stock products to be chosen by the related products and therefore displaying a blank result !!
or we can have the related product show only the ones that are featured (with a star on them)@Rikard .. or anyone else .. been a week .. any answer to this ?

If i type in per-vurt.com/shows it goes to a non secure web page rather than converting it to https://per-vurt.com/shows
and they said it is because of the above mentioned errorsShouldnt anything typed in the internet browser be converted automatically to https ?
