Yes please close – thanks again.
Thanks Nikko – that seemed to work. (It wouldn’t allow me to upload the zip file, but uploading it via FTP was ok).
Thanks again
Hi Rikard
So just to unpack this issue:
If I upgrade WP first (to 5.0.3) the front end stays ok, but the Avia Layout editor doesn’t load in the CMS, If I then load the latest Enfold via FTP, the site breaks with the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare av_countdown_events_fallback() (previously declared in /homepages/6/d130392294/htdocs/clickrepublic/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php:16) in /homepages/6/d130392294/htdocs/clickrepublic/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php on line 8
The site is currently running on PHP 5.6 But I tried upgrading to PHP 7.0 and 7.1, but I was getting the same problem.
ThanksThanks Ismael – that fixed it!
best regards
GaryMy wife asked a developer to take a quick look as this and he said:
There are no js errors in the console, so nothing to go on there.
When switching to the parent theme the lightbox does work. So that suggests that there is something going on with the child theme that is causing the problem.
Comparing the two I can see that the lightbox-added class is not being appended to the image container so that would explain the problem. The question is what in the child theme is causing this? I can see nothing obvious.Does this help?
thanks
GaryHi Rikard
Did you have any luck with this?
thanks
GaryHi Rikard
I have have copied the main site to a staging version:
So feel free to disable Autoptimise here etc for testing. And I have also disabled the CDN (this applies to the main site too).
Access details still the same (see private content)

thanks
GaryHi Vinay
You have misunderstood this! The issue is with the masonry galleries, not the hompage (see first post).
1. So Rikard suggested deactivating Autoptimise.
2. But doing this didn’t help with the gallery problem and also threw out the homepage.
3. I have therefore reactivated the Autoptimise (homepage now fine), but we still have the original problem.
thanks
GaryHi Rikard
Thanks. Tried disabling but that didn’t help the gallery. In fact disabling Autoptimise threw out some elements on the homepage!
Best regards
GaryThanks Victoria – see below.
Happy to close now – thanks Rikard. Before you go, can you confirm if this adjustment will be contained in the next Enfold update – or should your code stay in the Child functions.php file?
Gary
Thanks Victoria. The second suggestion (Rikard’s code for the functions.php file) worked!
kind regards
GaryHi Victoria
No this particular page does not have video. It’s just the Gravity Form that is not loading.
thanks
GaryHi Victoria
Yes Enfold (child) has been activated again on the staging site.
Access in private content.
thanks
GaryHi Rikard
I have activated a basic theme – and the form seems to load:
thanks
GaryI have checked with Gravity Forms – and they are insistent that it is the theme at fault. This is what they say:
Gravity Forms is fully compatible with WordPress 4.9.
Because your form uses conditional logic it has an inline style of display:none applied, if your page has any JavaScript issues they can prevent the Gravity Forms scripts from running, and when those scripts can’t run the inline display:none style can’t be removed.
Here is the error from your staging page:
wp-mediaelement.min.js:1 Uncaught TypeError: b(…).not(…).filter(…).mediaelementplayer is not a function
thanks

Hi Victoria
I appear to still getting the same result:
I have removed
color: #333!important; (in Style.css in the child theme)
and left in Mike’s code in Quick CSS.Is that correct?
thanks
GaryHi Mike
Tried this – but this didn’t work either!
GaryThanks Mike. I tried that but it didn’t seem to work…..
