thx for your quick feedback….
After much trial and error, I found the bug responsible… it was a code I found here in the support to hide titles on hover (for function.php):
Apparently this code also deactivates all hover actions that have to do with a tooltip… even the tooltip for the icon element was no longer displayed on hover!
But I found another code from Guenni007:
With this titles are no longer displayed on hover WITHOUT deactivating tooltips of the “Image with hotpots”
Thx to the Enfold team AND everyone – especially Guenni007 – who shares their knowledge here with us non-programmers 👍🏻

Hi Guenni… the exact size is 608 x 1080 px… aspect ratio should be 9/16.
After looking everything again, I’m very happy with the size of the video (using your code)… desktop, tablet and smartphone 👌🏻… no changes necessary 😃.
Only the black bars on the right and left are annoying…
…and that the video inside the lightbox is displayed so dark on the smartphone… on the desktop and tablet it’s not like that… but maybe I have to create a new topic for that?!…

thx for your feedback and the hint for the site loading speed! I didn’t want to deal with that until the very end…. but now I have already started with it ;-)
In the meantime, I’ve also tested the site on another PC and, like you, the problem didn’t occur… apparently it’s only on this one laptop!?… strange… but if it only appears there, I can definitely ignore it ;-)
So feel free to close this topic!

I tested the site on a PC laptop with Chrome and Edge… this “wobbling effect” was on both browsers.
And it may be that this effect only appears on this tested PC laptop?… strange…
However, the problem did not appear on other websites…In my video it looks as if the content is positioned centered without the scroll bar and then the space of the scroll bar is subsequently taken into account and accordingly the elements are re-centered a little further to the left and this creates this “wobbling effect”…. be that possible?
It would be great if you could take another look at it or maybe have an idea how I can avoid this effect.

Or will your solution be integrated into the next update of Enfold?…hopefully.Can I continue to work parallel on the website or should I wait until you have implement the solution?

it plays on desctop devices now :-) …but you can not stop it and the sound goes on playing as you move on to the next slider…on mobile phones is another bug with the fallback-image…
Anyway … luckily the video in the slideshow is not that important … I will replace this video with an image now.Very importent is that the locally hosted videos below can be played … and this does not work on the tested Samsung mobile phones … please have a look to the new screenshot that explains the problems.
Do you have any idea how to solve this?

thanks for your feedback.
The videos were saved as mp4 with H.264 / AAC…and it works great on other smartphones – except on Samsung devices.
And yes, linked to youtube videos work on Samsung.
BUT the customer does not want using Youtube!I have provided a page (see link in private message) with a sample video downloaded from youtube.
This does not work either as a local hosted video (see old example screenshot what happens then …).Have you ever tried locally hosted videos on Samsung smartphones … placed in an iframe (… example_video.mp4?iframe=true)?
I really need a solution …

… the password from my first post (scroll up) is for access (htaccess password protection) to see the screenshot and the website as well…if you need more, then you have to let me know…it’s urgent!

BUT … a solution for another topic of mine with locally hosted videos with problems on smartphones is VERY URGENT … I need a solution for my client!

Do you want me to disable the directory protection in the htaccess file now?
Or do you need the passwords to the WordPress account?
For security reasons, however, I have always installed a directory protection in the htaccess file in front of the WordPress acccount …I’m more a beginner … please consider that in your answer ;-) ..thx

The video is now placed correctly with your css code.
But …
1)
The automatic start does not work – you only see a gray background!
You have to start the video manually … and this only works with visible video control bar on the bottom – but this bar should be hidden.2)
I also noticed that on a tablet (ipad) the video and the fallback image can be seen standing one below the other at the same time. And the video does not fill the entire width (see screenshot).
With a Youtube video path you it works fine – you only see the fallback image (which is ok for mobile devices).Is there a solution for these bugs on local mp4 hosted videos?

thanks for the quick feedback!Mhhh, “overwritten on updates” does not sound comfortable …
I wanted to use the tooltip for a hint on links to Youtube videos … under the new European Data Protection Regulation, which will come on 25 May 2018 (could also be interesting for “enfold” and corresponding adjustments).
But then I will use first only local videos…By the way … high praise to your work … whenever I search for solutions, I find these in your posts!!!
