yep – i changed it per the client. it works great – but the 1-2-3 buttons were not working! so i changed to Load More. works fine! thanks, josue!

i have mitigated the situation by creating screen grabs and setting them as “featured image” – that takes care of the “blank icon” issue for me.
i understand why grid format wouldn’t be a priority – it would be a small video! the key for me in the future will be to create a frame grab from the video and use as featured image to avoid the blank icon issue.

ok – i changed formats on the home page in layout builder – still nothing.
the post itself is video format post type; and i used this code to embed the video:
[av_video src='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGeBpKW3DnA' format='16-9' width='16' height='9']so why am i still lacking a preview?
and shouldn’t the grid format support small previews? why do all the other display formats for blog posts support a preview except grid?

ismael – thanks for getting back to me. i ended up manually uploading a fresh copy of WordPress and i could then get in.
strangely, the site was on the .1 version of the template – i then upgraded to the .2 – not sure if that had anything to do with it, but as you can see, it was erroring on avia shortcodes lines…weird.

i tried adding class=’noLightbox’ to that shortcode, but it does not work.
are you saying i need to abandon using button shortcodes and go to traditional ahref links only?
where should this class tag go in this button shortcode, yigit?
