thank you, josue! works perfectly!
This reply has been marked as private.OK for those having the same issues, here’s what i found – i had searched numerous threads on this subject, and each one had a different “fix” – none of which worked for me. but i did find one thread that provided a clue – mentioning that each megamenu has its “own name” based on the configuration you set up for your own site.
so using firebug, i found the code for “my” megamenu installations, and inserted this code into Custom CSS in the Enfold control panel:
.avia_mega_div.avia_mega5.twelve.units { right: -1360px !important; }
and it seems to work – on Mac Firefox, Chrome and less so on Safari. But at least they are all more or less centered now, as drop-downs.
I hope this is helpful. If any Kriesi team members can help further explain what’s happening, that would be great for those who come later for help on this thread.
This reply has been marked as private.I’ve tried adding this code, found on another thread with a megamenu alignment issue, but it did nothing for me:
.avia_mega_div.avia_mega2.six.units { left: 0 !important; }
so not sure where to go next. I tried setting them all back to regular drop-downs, and then back to MM, but that did nothing.
i really need these to work, with so many options to choose from…. thank you so much for your attention to this, Kriesi team.
September 13, 2014 at 7:23 pm in reply to: Mega Menu appears at a single, clipped column instead of page-wide #318577well, i changed the menu to be groupings of parts with submenu items and that resolved the issue – apparently there’s a limit to how many items mega menu wants to display (i had 44). i did use the menu limit detector plugin as recommended in another thread, but that did not give me any warnings, so i assume that 44 items on a mega menu should be fine.
in any event, there we go. check the link in private and you’ll see what i mean.
any ideas as to why it wouldn’t just arrange them normally, and did that single column thing?
September 13, 2014 at 6:43 pm in reply to: Mega Menu appears at a single, clipped column instead of page-wide #318563Ismael – i deactivated all plugins on my test version of the site – no change.
It may be important to note that the dropdown is WooCommerce product categories – would that make a difference? It shouldn’t, but i wanted to mention it.
I don’t know what “override the theme files” means. Can you explain further?

August 19, 2014 at 8:02 pm in reply to: Google Webmaster Tools Warning Email: Stop redirecting smartphone users #306498yes, i’ve been through the server, nothing out of the ordinary, so i’m at a loss for this as well. maybe it was just some weird google spidering glitch. i’ll wait to see if i hear from them again.
thanks for your help, devin.

August 19, 2014 at 1:13 am in reply to: Google Webmaster Tools Warning Email: Stop redirecting smartphone users #306040i checked the htaccess file and it’s completely normal. nothing unusual at all. so not sure why this happened, but i will follow up with google and if i find anything, will add it to this thread. thank you, devin.
August 18, 2014 at 8:07 pm in reply to: Google Webmaster Tools Warning Email: Stop redirecting smartphone users #305957well, i only have standard ones: all in one SEO pack, google xml sitemaps, google analytics, and contact form 7 / db / captcha. that’s it! and i have those on ALL my sites, but this one for some reason got the weird email from Google.
well, just wanted to share it with you. as Enfold is a responsive theme, i was confused about how they were claiming about redirection, etc.
August 18, 2014 at 4:47 pm in reply to: Woocommerce Product Finder results page has no "search results" title #305848thanks, devin – i saw that also, but their actual product page shows a title.
i turned on breadcrumbs and page titles, and that does help with some description as to what is going on.
thanks for taking the time!
thank you so much, devin! i had no idea that setting affected display as it does – now i do!
i really appreciate your help!
gunter – that worked perfectly, THANK YOU DUDE!!!
i love kriesi and their support team. ALWAYS helpful.
perfect! as always, you are AMAZING, yigit! THANK YOU!
oh man, you are RIGHT – analytics box! sheesh. sorry about that.
ok! working good now EXCEPT i have no nav symbol now on iphone. any ideas?
thanks again so much, and sorry for being dumb.
yigit – this is not working for me. i am seeing code below the footer now. i added both to custom CSS and now i see code on the home page, plus the mobile shows the secondary menu still and the mobile menu as empty.
i set the main menu to be “blank” (that is a menu with no items) – otherwise, it shows two default pages (home, sample page). i do not want that. so i need to have a “blank” menu in place for main menu.
maybe i wasn’t clear. what i need is this:
1. remove the secondary/top menu on mobile/iphone only so that only the social/phone number appears
2. have the mobile menu (the little menu icon) display the secondary menulet me know if this make sense.
update: here is my menu setup:

i’ve had this problem on multiple sites. the solutions are as follows (for logo left / menu right):
1. make sure your logo is no wider than 340 – smaller if possible
2. make sure your nav is as SMALL as possible – short words, only a few of them
3. turn on mobile menu for phones/tablets – header layout > mobile menu > pulldown to the combo settingthat should help.
thanks, josue!!!

i changed the background color for the header, but a portion of it remains the older color – i have all the settings the same new color code. any ideas why?
to reconfirm: no change. on ipad (iphone is acceptable but not great)
the secondary/top nav continues left aligned.
the message / phone position is centered on ipad.
the logo is cut off by overprinting by the main nav on landscape orientation.
in addition, there is now a gray “rectangle” appearing in the lower half of the logo, despite it being a transparent PNG.in short, it’s worse now than when we started.
and the background image continues to show on landscape orientation. it should not show at all.
no change.
note that i am leaving all the previously recommended code in Custom CSS.
i did attempt to remove all the earlier code and use just what you have recommended, peter, but that made things worse. so i reinstituted the older code, along with yours.
no change.
very frustrating. are kriesi people looking at this issue on ipads and iphones to confirm the grabs above?
hi ismael – well, this resolved the iphone issue.
by the way, i left in Custom CSS the previous code given to me by yigit. should that have been removed?
unfortunately, ipad is still a problem – see below. this is not resolving. i have gone ahead and shortened the top / secondary menu by deleting elements (that should be there, but i can tell that having too many is not good).
On portrait, you can see the secondary nav is now left-aligned (it was right), and the message/phone position is now CENTERED! neither of these are desirable.the nav should be right-aligned; the message should be left-aligned. and in my thinking, the message should appear OVER the secondary menu, not below it.
Landscape shows the same issues as portrait, PLUS the background image is still showing small amounts. why is this continuing to happen? it should be disabled for mobile, YES?please, can we get solutions to this? i shouldn’t have to go through this for what are basic features of the theme.
Hi Yigit!
Unfortunately, the problem is still here after adding the Custom CSS code. see below:
IPHONE LOGO CUTOFF
IPAD PORTRAIT NAV ISSUE – note how the upper navigation (secondary nav) is stacking and pushing down the message set to appear top left
IPAD LANDSCAPE ISSUE – note how the upper nav/secondary is stacking just like on portrait – plus the mobile nav is NOT showing, AND the background images are showing slight on the left and right – shouldn’t those be suppressed on all mobile?
thank you for your help!
