@rikard so you are saying that the color section feature works in a post without having to use the Avia Layout Builder? If it does, I can’t seem to figure out how to do that. Thanks.
This reply has been marked as private. What I would like to see in posts are 1) full width feature images, 2) full width images in the post itself.
No, it should not be wrapped in the avian-iframe-wrap container. This worked before. It’s stopped working with a recent update of Enfold.
If you read through this whole of this thread you will see that in a private post I have already provided the login.
Thanks.
I changed this link back:
http://carlolson.tv/a-beautifully-crafted-series-of-interviews-by-design-firm-alfred-dunhill/
The post simply contains the URL to the YouTube videos like this:

No. All I do is use the YouTube share URL. No embed info stored in that. It’s just a link to the video. They all previously worked in Enfold, but went all wonky in a recent update of Enfold. I’ve gone back a changed a few posts with the Enfold shortcode and that works, but that’s an option I really don’t want to use. I’d rather use WP’s ability to accept the YouTube URL. And it would be a lot of work to go back and change all the YouTube embeds in past posts.
Unfortunately, this worked just fine until a recent update of Enfold. So now I have to go in to every single blog post that I have a YouTube link and change it to the Enfold proprietary video embed shortcode. With several hundred blog posts, I can assure you this is no fun. So it is very frustrating to have to go in and “fix” what wasn’t broken to begin with. The thing is – if I ever have to move my website to another theme or platform, it will be a chore to remove all these special shortcodes from within blog posts. I don’t mind the pages so much as they are fewer. But the blog posts – they need to remain true to WordPress.
Thanks.
I do? Where do I set that? Thanks!
Correction: the left justified CSS is working. I still have the YouTube embed problem, though. Sorry to bother you folks with this.
One other thing… you mention: “It’s because you have it set to no sidebar.”
Well, that’s because I don’t want a sidebar for a single post and it’s an option in Enfold so it should just respect what I select. Thanks.
Sadly my single blog post body text are no longer left justified, even though it has this:
#top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content-wrapper { text-align: left; }
I added the CSS. There’s no change to the YouTube videos. However, the blog post body text is now wider… not something I really wanted. I just want the YouTube embeds to appear normal. Thanks.
PS – I removed the added CSS since it was making the blog look ugly.

October 17, 2014 at 3:48 pm in reply to: When using centered logo layout, huge gap between logo and menu bar #337392Ismael, yes I’ve noticed that. However, 340 x 156px is just not suitable for a lot of situations. Modifying the CSS is not obvious. It’s easy to say “modify CSS” but harder to do in practice. I realize I’m trying to push Enfold into the WP equivalent of Squarespace – which probably wasn’t your intention :)
Anyhow, any attention that can be given to make this easier on us would be greatly appreciated. My guess is that the load on tech support would go down a bit and I know you guys could use that :)
Thanks again for your awesome support and an awesome theme.
October 16, 2014 at 4:30 am in reply to: When using centered logo layout, huge gap between logo and menu bar #336519I love you guys at Kriesi… Always appreciate the help, but I guess this issue is a lost cause.
Have you considered how many logo questions are on this forum? The questions crop up often here. So you could probably put this to rest and get some relief by fixing logo management in Enfold.
Please revamp the way logos work in Enfold. No other premium theme I’ve worked with misbehaves as unpredictably as logos in Enfold.
It’s maddening to deal with. I implore you to give this consideration.
Whew! Glad to get that off my chest. You guys do rock and I appreciate the help I get here and love the theme. Did I mention except for the way it handles logos? :)
October 15, 2014 at 11:06 pm in reply to: When using centered logo layout, huge gap between logo and menu bar #336435Any way to control the bottom and top padding so I can center the logo?
October 15, 2014 at 8:03 pm in reply to: When using centered logo layout, huge gap between logo and menu bar #336351I see that you set the custom height to 65px. But here’s the thing… the logo size is 949×93. So it appears even smaller than before. And the bottom padding is still taller than the top padding. Where is the bottom padding coming from? And shouldn’t there be a way to preserve the logo actual size (and resize only when responsive for mobile or tablet is need)? Thank you for your assistance.

October 14, 2014 at 6:24 pm in reply to: When using centered logo layout, huge gap between logo and menu bar #335699Is there a way to eliminate the large gap between the logo image and the main menu when the Menu and Logo Position is set to Logo centered, Menu below?
Thanks, Josue. That partially worked. Unfortunately it causes the comments to spread out and fill the browser width.
I would really like to have a checkbox in the Enfold config area to control the feature image (full width, image full height, etc.).
It would be nice to be able to also add full width images in the body of the post without having to hack the theme.
Thanks!
This no longer works after updating to Enfold 3.0
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this… yes, I got it to work. Nice!
Thank you for your help.
Thanks, unfortunately the featured image does not break of the blog post content area and go full width.
I was able to get the advance layout editor to work in a blog post, but that breaks all the usual blog post stuff like the heading, author, date, etc. It’s a cool trick though that may be useful in some circumstances.
Thanks again for the top notch support. I really do appreciate the help and suggestions. I realize I’m pushing things into the experimental realm.
I’ll give this a try. Thanks!
I did find a plugin that does something similar called WP Canvas Shortcodes. I haven’t thoroughly tested but so far it works with the full width images and videos within posts.
Which now leads to another thing… I would love for the featured image or video have the option to span the full width of the browser window, too.
Check out MemberPress. It supports translation and localization. It’s a decent membership plugin that I’m using successfully with the Enfold theme. I’ve also used DAP – it’s a good product. The thing is a lot of these products will not have translation right out of the box. It’s going to take some work unfortunately.

True… but only as long as I remember the change. :)
