All done – thanks!
Such a solution is not practical in my case – a majority of my page content is in tabs so having a separate accordion element means needing to duplicate a ton of content and manually keeping both updated.
Thanks! The tabs are now pretty much unusable on mobile, both in terms of actually seeing the tab content and being able to navigate to other tabs – which is a shame, because they’re so pleasant to use. Fingers crossed it’s fixed soon.
I had the same problem – there’s a fix in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/problems-with-new-tab-section/
Hey –
I’m not on the Enfold team, but I fixed this same thing by adding the following to my CSS:
.av-section-tab-title { vertical-align: top !important; }
That works perfectly – thank you!
I saw elsewhere that work is also being done to make the new tab section responsive, right? I’ll eagerly await the next updates then. Thanks for your help. :)
Sorry about that:

From what I can tell, though, this isn’t unique to my site, but simply how the new tabs behave, so it should be easy to spot elsewhere too. :)
Perfect – thank you!
I’m not experiencing issues with this part, but I checked my own site based on this thread, and my tab section is apparently 800vw/12800px wide. Is that going to cause any problems at any point?
Sure – here’s what I mean: http://www.corinneduyvis.net/faq/#expanded
Those are accordions. Click on any of those links, and the arrow to the left adjusts. That’s the kind of behavior I want for tabs. Here’s the tab set-up I have (hardcover/ebook/audiobook) – http://www.corinneduyvis.net/novels/on-the-edge-of-gone-copy
So, if the tab is not selected: an arrow pointing to the right.
If the tab is selected: the arrow points down.Is that clearer? :)
Hey! So sorry for not checking that first. I’d disabled plugins that I’d thought be likely culprits, but since I only noticed it the first time after those other issues began to crop up I assumed they were related. Turns out I was totally wrong and it was some Twitter Card plugin causing the trouble. Sorry again & thanks!
Okay, good to know. Thanks so much. Have a nice day!
That works! Phew. Many thanks. :) Is there something I did wrong to cause this to happen/require this solution? Just so I know to avoid it in the future.
Absolutely–thanks!
All downloaded. Thanks so much!
Well, I can quite easily compare the files with WinMerge and see which files I edited that way, as well as the specific changes I made; I did the same with another WordPress site that I converted into a child theme. It’s by far the best and easiest way to track my changes. But I need the clean, unedited 3.0.8 theme in order to do so. Is there anywhere I can download that, please?
