Hey Rikard,
Thanks man, now the “Register” is showing just under the login button which works for me :)
With regards to the error messages forum members receive when resetting their passwords, and new members not being able to register, I really need this fixed and nothing I’ve done has worked. Could you recommend someone that I can pay to take care of it in a timely manner?
Thanks for your assistance Rikard!
Best regards,
ChrisCheers Ismael ;)
I was unaware of having to go into WP Themes and activate the newer version….derp! Anyhow, all is good now thanks for everyone’s assistance!!
Quick question though, why does my Themes page in WordPress show 13-14 Enfold themes deactivated? They all show as version 2.1 except for the version 3.3.2 one that I just activated.
Best regards,

Hey Andy,
Thanks for replying and I’ll give it a go, but 1 quick noob question as I just want to make sure…..If I delete the theme and reload it, will the site still display properly?
Best regards,
ChrisHey Rikard,
Thanks for your suggestion and I just uploaded a fresh download from Themeforest, but no luck man :(
Best regards,

Hey Basilis,
Thanks for your reply and I’ve tried changing the scripts.php that eberswine mentioned, but no luck :( I provided login details in my original post so I would appreciate it if someone could take a look, cheers!
Re the bbpress, ya I’ll check out the link you provided for some assistance, thanks ;)
Best regards,
ChrisHey Eberswine, congrats man and thanks for posting! Being a noob with all of this I’m worried about wrenching on it myself.
Perhaps a mod can comment as I really need to get this site back to where it can be edited, thanks!
PS: one other issue, and I can start a new thread if needed….About a year ago my BBPress forum stopped allowing users to edit. When you hit edit you get a 404 error. Not sure if this is a theme issue with BBPress as I’ve yet to figure out what’s going on. Anyhow, any comments would be appreciated….thanks!

Hey Devin, for some reason the Google webmaster tools still would never verify. Anyhow, I just ended up leaving the Tracking Code in the stock Enfold location, and then just uploaded an html file via ftp to the root on my server.
All good now, and thanks for your help!
Best regards,
Chrisok placing the snippet in the Body of the header.php didn’t seem to work either. One thing i noticed is my snippet looks different than any sample I’ve seen on Google’s help pages, see below….
<script>
(function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i[‘GoogleAnalyticsObject’]=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){
(i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o),
m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m)
})(window,document,’script’,’//www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js’,’ga’);ga(‘create’, ‘UA-XXXXXXXX-1’, ‘obutto.com’);
ga(‘send’, ‘pageview’);</script>
whereas this is what I see on Google’s help pages
<script type=”text/javascript”>
var _gaq = _gaq || [];
_gaq.push([‘_setAccount’, ‘UA-XXXXX-Y’]);
_gaq.push([‘_trackPageview’]);(function() {
var ga = document.createElement(‘script’); ga.type = ‘text/javascript’; ga.async = true;
ga.src = (‘https:’ == document.location.protocol ? ‘https://ssl’ : ‘http://www’) + ‘.google-analytics.com/ga.js’;
var s = document.getElementsByTagName(‘script’)[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
})();</script>
while I don’t understand 99.99% of all of this…..it obviously looks different. Sorry if this isn’t something you guys can help with, but hope it is :)
Thanks for your time!
Best regards,
ChrisRgr, so as long as I put it anywhere within the code on the “header.php” file I should be good? I’ll give the body a go and see what happens….thanks man!
Best regards,
ChrisHey Devin,
Thanks for replying, but when I put it into the theme’s field it apparently places it in the footer, whereas Google Analytics says it needs to be in the header….or I’m mistaken, but every time I try to verify, even when I use the theme’s field, it says it’s in the wrong place.
Sorry again for my noobish’ness.
Best regards,
ChrisHey Peter,
I used UltraEdit, man what a difference from Notepad.
Anyhow, I pasted the google analytics snippet just before the closing </head> tag, per Google’s instructions. Well it’s not exactly before because on the Enfold theme there is a note to leave “wp_head()” just before the closing </head> tag, so I put the snippet just above that note’s <?php
Still not able to verify the site though. Any assistance is appreciated.
Best regards,
Chris*EDIT* or should the snippet be placed in the body on the header.php?

cheers Peter, will give it a go :)
….or should I just edit the header.php via ftp?
Sorry I’m such a noob at this, but I don’t wanna jack my site all up….already done that once :/
cheers fellas, will give it a go ;)
…as an update, I tried uploading an earlier backup, dd 23/8/13, of the Header.php & Footer.php but nothing changed. Therefore, what controls the Header & Footer?
Update 2: I managed to get the Footer working again yay! Still can’t figure out the Header though, the menu is set but the header area on all pages still shows all the pages of my site.
Furthermore, no menu is showing on mobile devices (well at least not on my phone).
Update 3: I finally found why the menu wasn’t showing, after the site was restored it no longer had the Main Menu selected for the Theme Locations…..derp
Ismael, you are the man! Thanks bro ;)
