Hey Rikard,
Thats correct. But the width of the body copy drags out and gets really wide. I want it to stop after a certain width.
If you go on this page of my site: http://www.ccyran.com/projects/rga-stories/
You’ll see that the copy keeps extending. It does stop after a while because of the width I made in General Layout –> Dimensions, but I want it to stop extending earlier.Like how there’s CSS to control that here:
http://www.quackit.com/css/css_leading.cfmWith the part that says “max-width: 200px”. I tried using that CSS but it didn’t work.
Let me know if that makes sense. Thanks!
ChrisThat worked!
My final two questions…
01. How do I increase the line height/ spacing between the two tabs?
02. I want the background when you click on the dropdown icon to be completely black. right now it’s transparent.Thanks again!

April 19, 2017 at 6:08 am in reply to: Don't want content to keep expanding to browser width #779776Hey Ismael,
Understood about the images. I’ll make it half the size.
I tried this CSS and it didn’t work. Do you think you could take a look into my account? I’ve tried a bunch of CSS options but to no avail :(
Just to repeat my issue:
I want the header (tabs logo/ social icons, etc) to be the same on every page, as its shown on the homepage:
ccyran.comIf you click on a project thumbnail, you’ll see the header shrinking in.
http://www.ccyran.com/projects/rga-stories/I want to fix this so it’s the same as the homepage. And in the process, making all the content below the header aligned with the header width.
Like this for example: http://www.perkybros.com/portfolio/forgotten-boardwalk-brewing/
Please help!
Hey Nikko,
I tried that, but then the content falls apart.
For example, a text paragraph gets extremely long, images stretch out, etc.And the masonry gallery on my page keeps stretching in width. I had it before so it stays fixed to 4 columns after the browser gets wider, but now that it’s stretched layout, the columns keep tiling (12 column thumbnail, 1 row (does’n’t look good :( )
Any advice?
Thank you,
ChrisApril 17, 2017 at 6:48 pm in reply to: Don't want content to keep expanding to browser width #778861Hey John,
Understood. I can’t place any of my content inside a color section though. Enfold doesn’t let you place grid row elements inside a color section.
Is there another solution for this?
Best,
ChrisHey Ismael,
This is what I did!…
@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
.avia-menu-text {
font-family: Open Sans;
font-weight: 550;
-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;
text-transform: uppercase;
letter-spacing: .1em;
font-size: 11px;
}
}• It looks like it works now, but the menu text isn’t uppercase,I want it smaller.
• Along with not making the background transparent. I want it black.My final result is to get it looking like this… http://www.watsonnyc.com/
But with my font.Thank you,

Hey Ismael,
I apologize, Im getting really confused. Which CSS? I have no much CSS implemented to make these tiny tweaks, I’m not sure what you’re telling me to do.
Sorry for the confusion and thanks again for helping me.
ChrisHey Ismael,
When I remove that CSS, it is fixed.
But I lose how the styling is on desktop. I wanted to keep the uppercase, smaller more tracked out tabs.Can you help me keep this styling the same? And on mobile making the point size bigger.
My only problem now is that the mobile tabs are really tiny. I also didn’t want the transparency behind the tabs.
Sorry for bugging you, I also posted my login info below if you want to take a look at all the Quick CSS styling I have.
Thank you,

April 13, 2017 at 11:43 pm in reply to: Don't want content to keep expanding to browser width #777580Hey yigit,
I didn’t notice any changes :(
Also, to be more clear, I want the new margins/header to align with how it appears on the homepage. I don’t want any jumps.Here’s some screenshots to be clear!
Homepage:

https://ibb.co/cmmRGQThanks again for your help Yigit, I really appreciate it. It means a lot.
ChrisHey Yigit,
That worked! Last thing I promise!
How do I make all the other pages match this header width I now have on the homepage?
For example: I don’t like how the header shrinks in here.
I think the solution is similar to what I’m trying to get here, so maybe this thread can close?
Best,
ChrisHey Ismael,
Im sorry to bug you,
I looked at my mobile menu tabs and it looks like it’s changed :(
It’s now transparent and the menu tabs are really small. Could you fix this?
Thank you,
ChrisApril 12, 2017 at 4:14 pm in reply to: Don't want content to keep expanding to browser width #776771Hey Yigit,
Understood! Screenshot Here: https://ibb.co/dsrH5k
On the project pages, like this one: http://www.ccyran.com/projects/rga-stories/
I want the content width to be a bit wider. I like the margins when the website is around 950px wide. It’s when the browser width exceeds that number, the margins appear to double on each side.Let me know if that makes sense. Thanks!
Hey this worked!
But one thing,
I want the header menu to always be centered like it is on this page:
After I added the CSS you provided, my head menu leans to the right:
Thanks!
ChrisApril 11, 2017 at 3:53 pm in reply to: Font Weight appears thicker than Google Fonts preview #776136Hey Yigit,
That did the trick! Thank you! Out of curiosity, why was CSS needed for this?

ChrisApril 10, 2017 at 5:58 am in reply to: Font Weight appears thicker than Google Fonts preview #775260Hey Sarah,
Can you take a look at it now?
The paragraph on the right. The font weight is slightly thicker than how it should appear. Here’s a screenshot on google’s page using the same font in the body copy.
Best,
ChrisThis worked!
Dude you’re the freaking best. I honestly wish I could do more than say thank you.
Perfect!
Im sorry one last thing i promise!
I want to move the tabs a bit further down from the menu. so its not close to that border line. If I could remove that border line too that would be awesome.
**I also don’t want that overlay to appear once you click on the tab, the white knockout highlight. Is this something I edit in the general styling?**
Thanks again!

Hey!
That does work but I also wanted the tabs to be bigger, centered, and without that arrow on the left.
Thanks!
ChrisCoo! Details below!
Hey!
Can you show me a screenshot of how you see it? I’m did a hard reset and cleared my cache and it still looks the same.
Thanks!
ChrisAh I see. Thanks for the quick responses!
Hey Ismael,
Tried that and nothing changed. Maybe the css isn’t correct somewhere?
Thank you.
ChrisHey Ismael,
That works but aesthetically I don’t like it this way. I like when it was aligned with my header on the top. See my screenshots below when I try what you mentioned.
Separator: https://ibb.co/h8fiqa
Whitespace: https://ibb.co/mvaSGFIs there any solve to get it the way I want? I wish I could do a dropdown menu. Like it says “Categories/Disciplines” then it drops down to these options. But I’d rather just have it uptop. Either way I’d be thankful to try both.
Any help? Thank you.
Chris
Hey Ismael,
Perfect!!! Thank you!
You guys rock.
Those two worked! But I actually don’t have the solve for number 3. The window still slides in from the top right. Can I get css for that?
Thanks again Andy! Really really appreciate the support.
Hey Andy,
Apologies, correct password is below. Thanks for looking into this. Appreciate it!
Hey Jordan,
No worries! I really appreciate you trying to help.
Okay understood, thank you for the help.
Hey Andy,
I tried that a few days ago. No luck. You can close this thread.
Thank you.
Hey Andy,
I was talking about the menu you see on my website when on mobile. Apologies, I didn’t think this needed a screenshot.
Here’s a screenshot: https://ibb.co/hkpLJv
Im sorry im asking for alot, I just wish the enfold theme consider the mobile header a bit more. There’s no customization options for mobile, but there’s a bunch for desktop.
Best,
