Hello Ismael,
Thanks for this. I am studying the documentation you refer me to. Meanwhile, may I ask:
(1) Are CETs available for use in the Classic (Default) Editor, or only the Advanced Layout Builder? If the latter, ALB only, then my purpose is not served.
(2) If I save a Text Box/Panel as a CET, will I be able to change the content of the Text Box?Thanks! Lance
February 20, 2025 at 2:10 am in reply to: Add Spacing and Panels/Text Boxes in Classic Editor #1477431Thanks, Ismael. This is super! I’ve got it working with the basic code and the code for the Quick CSS.
I do have a further question, how do I set this up to enter it easily into the editor? The thing is I will want to be using it repeatedly, on different pages, but with a different content each time.
Suggestions appreciated. Lance
February 18, 2025 at 2:03 am in reply to: Add Spacing and Panels/Text Boxes in Classic Editor #1477290Thanks, Rikard. That documentation is helpful.
Now, this has answered, quite positively, the first part of my original question, about the adding whitespace in the classic editor. Now, may I press the inquiry to the second question. Does Enfold have any option for adding text boxes to highlight/set off text? As for example in the page linked below. Thanks!
February 17, 2025 at 1:09 am in reply to: Add Spacing and Panels/Text Boxes in Classic Editor #1477209Hello Rikard,
Are you talking about the “Separator/Whitespace” code that is accessible via the Magic Wand Tool (Content Elements > Separator / Whitespace? I looks like that might help with the spacing issue I was asking about (though not the text boxes).
If so, I’ve been searching for some documentation of how to use the Magic Wand, and how to use the Separator / Whitespace code in particular. Is there any?
Thanks! Lance
Let’s mark this resolved. I figured it out. Sorry for the bother.

Thanks for your quick response. Let’s see: Not sure what you mean by “the” cache. I clear the cache of my browsers several times a day. I’ve flushed the cache on my (Flywheel) host server twice. Still, I see the notices for Enfold 6.0.1, even after, as I say, upgrading to 6.0.2. See screenshots:

Thanks! Lance
Hi Rikard,
Thanks. That code seems to have done the trick. Appreciate your help.
Thanks, Yigit. That did the trick! Case closed.
Hi Rikard,
Could I just get a clarification: I have a license for Enfold for one website, purchased from Themeforest/Evanto Market 2018-12-15. Does that license expire after a certain date?
Thanks! Lance
Hi Ishmael,
The link you sent me works. Earlier today, when I clicked the “Can’t find a solution to your problem? Open a new thread” bar at the top of the forum, I was shown this popup message:https://app.screencast.com/7P1z30pQSVKd9
So is the link in your message a permanent fix, so that I don’t encounter this issue again?
Also, why does it say that my license has expired? I don’t see any indication on the Themeforest site that the license has an expiry date. Does it?
Thanks! Lance

Hi Nikko,
This worked. Thanks so much for your help.
FYI: I did have to change ‘entry_without_sidebar’ to ‘entry_with_sidebar’
Cheers! Lance
Thanks, Ismael. That did the trick! I appreciate your help.

Thanks for your help. The code you provided did the trick. Problem seems to be solved for now. Case closed!

February 12, 2022 at 8:50 pm in reply to: Corrupted Thumbnails on Enfold Latest News Sidebar Widget #1340302Hi Mike,
Excellent! Thanks. This worked. But may I ask a couple of questions?
(1) Would you have any guess as to what changed in my site to make such a fix necessary? Is this an old widget, such that it needed a fix? Is it a bug in the widget that will be updated so that this snippet is no longer necessary? What would cause this error to appear all of a sudden?
(2) I’ve been using the Enfold theme since 2014. Over the years, I’ve accumulated a good number of snippets in my Quick CSS field. Do you have any advice as to how to manage these Quick CSS snippets? I’m guessing that some have by now become redundant or outdated. Perhaps some could possibly cause conflicts. What’s the best way to keep track of them?
Thanks! Lance

No result. Then I tried adding the latest snippet at the end of the functions.php file in my Enfold child theme. There was a result, but not the desired result. The two last options on the TECpro Display tab disappeared. When I removed the snippet, they reappeared. See screenshots.

LanceSeptember 2, 2021 at 6:17 pm in reply to: The Events Calendar "Disable the Event Search Bar" Option Disabled by Enfold? #1319541Ismael,
I didn’t “try the suggestion above.” I instead, in my previous message, I asked how “to remove these functions via my Enfold child theme?” Not being a WordPress coder, I’d need, if possible, the exact code to place in my child theme functions.php file.
Thanks! LanceAugust 31, 2021 at 5:52 pm in reply to: The Events Calendar "Disable the Event Search Bar" Option Disabled by Enfold? #1319217Hello Ismael,
Is there a way to remove these functions via my Enfold child theme? Perhaps some code for the functions.php file in the child theme?
I’m a little hesitant to venture into modifying the theme itself.
Thanks! LanceAugust 27, 2021 at 5:51 pm in reply to: The Events Calendar "Disable the Event Search Bar" Option Disabled by Enfold? #1318701Thanks, Ismael. So you were quite correct, the single quotes somehow got screwed up in the copying and pasting. I fixed that. The functions.php with your snippet is now loaded and so far there are no more critical errors. The site seems to be working fine.
The problem is that the added snippet does not seem to have accomplished anything, since the “Disable the Event Search Bar” has not been restored to the The Events Calendar Pro “Display” panel.
I have placed a Dropbox link to the modified functions.php file in the private content box below in case that would help, along with a link to our events page.
Next step?August 27, 2021 at 2:39 am in reply to: The Events Calendar "Disable the Event Search Bar" Option Disabled by Enfold? #1318525Hi Ismael,
Thanks for sending this. Alas, when I added it as the last line of my Enfold child theme’s functions.php file, I received a critical error message and was unable to access my WordPress admin dashboard until I restored the previous functions.php file via FTP. I’m copying the content of the file than caused the problem in the private content box below, in hopes that you could take a look and advise.

This is fixed indeed. Thanks! Let’s close this thread.
Let’s close this one. Thanks!
OK with me to close this. Thanks!
OK. Never mind. I figured it out. Found the setting among the Quick CSS entries.
Thanks for your support! LanceHello, Ismael–
Ah ha! That code was it. It wasn’t creating problems until recently, but be that as it may, it’s fixed now.
Thanks very much indeed for your help! -
