Thanks Mike this is hugely helpful!
Yep, that’s what I figured and I tried that but couldn’t find it easily enough and gave up. But I can reproduce it now that you confirmed that’s where you find the id. Thanks yes we can close this one.
Hi Mike,
Your solution worked instantly without any need to clear the cache. Thanks a lot!
Can you let me know how you were able to ascertain the slider name to be #rev_slider_9_1 instead of the old one “3_1” ?
I’d like to be able to figure out that number without having to bother you guys to help me with that.
Hi Yigit,
For some reason, all of the problems are back. I was doing some editing to the slides, and I checked iphone and found that the fix you put in before with Quick CSS is not working anymore for some reason.
Here’s a pic from testingbot that I took today showing all the same problems as before. Can you please take a look?

That layer looks fine on the slider revolution preview and on Windows Chrome and on Android. But it’s got the same problem as before on iphone. It seems the fix you applied was effective for every other layer in the slider except this one. Hoping there’s something we can do to get this one fixed too.
Very helpful thank you Mike!
Yep, disabled it just now.
Oh yes upgraded to admin just now
Here’s new login info in private section.
Hi thanks for the help with this problem. The Quick CSS worked earlier this year, but now the tiny text problem is back.
I installed a child theme recently, but I checked to make sure the CSS is still there, and it is:
Can you please take a look at my site and help me figure out why the text is so small on mobile?
Just like before, only Josephine’s page has text that’s a reasonable size as seen above in the history of this ticket.
Ok thanks for this guidance
Thanks for your reply Rikard. Will I lose my existing layersliders? That would be a big problem.
Oh ok sorry I thought it was bundled.
Thanks Mike, really appreciate this guidance. I’ll give revolution a try!
Ok thanks I feel like I really need this even if I have to go with a different solution than layerslider.
yes can close thanks again Mike
Ok thanks for this guidance
When this page loads, the video thumbnail shows and looks pretty terrible.
Thanks Mike, it was just a matter of fixing the aspect ratio. Do you happen to know how to prevent the slide from showing the video thumbnail for a split second when the page loads?
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your reply. The problem is just that the video is cropped. And I don’t know how to correct that.
Yes please if you would look at the slider called ‘desktop and tablet’ in our account. login details provided below.
slide 1 has the video as a background.
It’s set as a background video in layerslider.
Nevermind for now I found these settings. Will give it a try.
Hi thanks Mike. The issue is that I have a vision for a video background that isn’t working out well.
Layerslider seems to have a 20:9 aspect ratio or something. So, when I add a video, it blows it up and crops it to fill the space. I guess my question therefore is, how do I set the aspect ratio in a slide to be 16:9, the same as youtube and such.
Now I changed the snippet to (Email address hidden if logged out)
Still won’t send emails.
I added that snippet to the end of functions.php
Unfortunately, I’m still not getting any emails from our site including the forgot password one.
Thanks as always Rikard. The problem seems to be 2. Check if WordPress is able to send e-mails
I have gotten a hold of my functions.php file. What email do I put in this snippet?
function change_cf_from() { return " (Email address hidden if logged out) "; } add_filter('avf_form_from', 'change_cf_from', 10);
The email I want notified of lead form submissions? The instructions are confusing.
Or should I just leave the snippet as is and insert it into functions.php?
