Thanks for your patience, Rikard. I will set up a staging site and get back to you on that.
I just wonder if without the traffic going to the site, we will encounter the same problems, because obviously it crashes after a certain duration of time with some code that’s getting hit. Anway, I will copy the whole website over to a staging site and let it run a few days and see what happens.
    Best Wishes

    hi Rikard,
Unfortunately, this is a live site with subscribers, I can’t really disable the plugins for that reason, and also the websites crash every 2-3 days. So i will have to have the websites offline. But then also when there is no traffic on the websites, we might not get a true test.
The thing is, it used to work before the latest update of the theme. Are there any other ideas?
I can also send you the error that come up in the php-errors file.
    Thanks

Hi Victoria, The site actually crashes every few days. so I can’t disregard the message.
Can you please help me figure out what’s wrong and how I can fix this error?

in reply to: Updated to 4.7.6.1 and get error? #1255954

    Hello,
I am getting the same error after i upgraded the theme. I get an email once every few days from wordpress with the content below.:
I have tried to overwrite the files several times but the same error keeps showing up.

    Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with your theme, Enfold.

First, visit your website (https://astrology-videos.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://astrology-videos.com/wp-login.php) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.5.1
    Current theme: Enfold (version 4.7.6.3)
    Current plugin: (version )
    PHP version 7.3.13

    Error Details

You may close this thread :D

in reply to: portfolio item image zoom #1112829

yes!!! that is very close to what I want it to do! thank you!!!
The animation doesn’t happen every time I scroll up on the page, only the first time, to see the animation again on the page by scrolling up, I have to refresh the page. But that is better than not. Is there a way for the animation to happen every time I scroll up and come upon each section?

    hi Ismael,
Sorry, for asking you in this thread, but I am not able to start a new question.
I was not able to create the effect I want with parallax, I don’t want the background to be floating (that the parallax does) but the image and text blocks to be floating like in the example website above)
Is it possible to do it? If not what is it called? I have been trying to google it but parallax seems when the text scrolls at the speed of the mouse while the background image scrolls at a different speed of is fixed.
What I want is that the foreground seems to bubble up faster as you scroll down. as it does on the home page of the following website.

Hi Basilis, I was able to get this working with the help of the plugin designer.
    Thank you!

    I have one other question…
Is it possible to have the different sections on the hope page float up as I zoom down on the page? You can see the example on the home page of the site in the private tab… As you scroll down, the sections kind of float up. Do you know what that feature is called and if the enfold theme has that?
    Thanks

    hi all,
So I was able to solve the issue.
Instead of using an image element, I used the following html

    Ponderosa Gathering

I uploaded the files in large sizes for the zoom to work and then the has width and ht in the size I wanted them on my page.

I am very thrilled to have it working, thanks for all your efforts!
    ————————————–

I have two things that I would like a little help with, please:

1: the edges are not rounded (radius) on my images that I put with the tag.
When I had them with the image element they were nicely rounded. I have tried adding the class avia-image-container-inner to the image, but no luck. What am I missing? Please help.

    2. The zoom image that I have that comes up on top of my image, starts a bit higher and end a bit higher than the original image due to the drop shadow I have around my image. Is there an easy css fix for that so that my zoom image fits right on top of my original image?

Here is a page that shows the above two problems:

    thanks a lot!!!

What else is possible, is there another plugin that would work with the advanced layout builder or another kind of image element?

Also on my image I decided to put the slightly zoom feather for now:
    srishtiart.net/paintings/ponderosa-gathering-landscapes-portfolio
And whether I apply the slightly zoom or slightly increase the size, it ALWAYS just increases the size.
How can I male it so it just slightly zooms?
    Thanks

I really would love to have this functionality of a nice zoom image on my portfolio pages (I actually do not want it on my shopping cart, which are the bottom images)
Please advice what I need to do to get it for the large image on the portfolio page.

    hi Basilis,
Thanks a lot for the reply!
The thing is that it works on the top single image when I make my browser size small, as I mentioned earlier.
Why does it not work when the browser is full screen. Also the one on the test page is a single image as well. but it’s just made with the default builder.

So for some reason it works on the page made with the advances builder only when I shrink the page down…. I would like it to work normally just like on the test page.
    thank you

    hello Victoria,
I have tried and yes, it works on the pages without the advanced layout builder. But I really really need an image zoom on my portfolio pages built with the advanced builder.

Also I noticed that when I resize the page to a smaller screen size, then the zoom starts working! Al=nd it also works on my cell phone! But not on a regular screen. so there has to be something you can tell me as to how to get it working on my portfolio pages on a regular screen.

Also, on my test page with default builder the zoom level is greater than on the advanced builder page. I wonder why?

Please please help!!!! Login details for my site below…

    Hello Victoria,
    Thanks!
I tried the WP Image Zoom by Silky press, the free version.
I applied the css class zoooom in the advanced layout builder “custom css class” for my main image.
Even if I embedded the image to a not full size, say a medium size, though I see a magnifying glass, the zoom did not work.

Can you please confirm if this plugin works with enfold on an image on the portfolio page?

    Thanks

yes, that is what I meant to say, I am asking if it’s possible to have prev and next arrows on a portfolio that I linked up above?

in reply to: smaller columns of text within 1/1 layout element #1062077

    thanks a lot Vinay,
I was able to customize it to a large extent, Her is how it looks now and I am mostly happy…

The exception being that on the mobile screens the grid layout gets smaller than a 1/1, and so the content is much smaller, I would like to see at least the add to cart button in my tabs down below on my cell phone screen.
There is plenty of space on the sides…

On a large screen the 1/1 is smaller than the grid while on the smaller screens the grid becomes smaller.

How can I have my content be not so shrunken on the mobile screen but still look nice on the large screens?

in reply to: product_page shortcode #1061306

    Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the code, it made a all the difference,
I am able to have the image and the product summary side by side nicely.

Another part of the above question is if I wanted to use this plugin wooswatches, to show swatches of my variations instead of the drop down, It works great on the shop page

Note the swatches on the shop page and ALSO the hover on the images, when I hover on the images they zoom.
But When I have that same product through the shortcode on this page:
    http://fv6.97e.myftpupload.com/paintings/ketu-the-south-node/

the wooswatches does not show anything, the variations disappear and the image does not zoom.

A solution to any of these issues would be great!
    thanks a lot

    Hello Ismael,
That did not do it, I did a flush cache and hard reload.. but still the same result.
    I already had this code
    .avia-image-overlay-wrap a.avia_image .image-overlay {
    display: none !important;
    }

I am still getting the overlay in the blog page….
    Any other suggestions please!

    Hello Ismael,
The login details have been in the private tab in the post above all along.
    Please check that once again.

The css you gave did not reflect any changes for me. Please note I am using the shortcode. The product page works great but I need to show the products in the portfolio page using the shortcode [product_page]
    Please see the description above.

    The page is here:

You can see the shortcode used on the tabs Cards and Prints lower down on the page.
The image and the product summary are shrunken down on the left and right side respectively.
    I would appreciateany help.

    Hello Ismael,
thanks for your reply! No that didn’t do it….
I am talking about : when I hover over the images which are going to open in light box, there is an arrow graphic and a white semi-transparent overlay.
Perhaps it would be ok to have the white overlay, but how to get rid of the arrow graphic?

    Hi contiorg,
It was simpler than I thought.
I am not in from of my computer right now, I can double check for you tomorrow, but I know how hard it is to wait to get things fixed…
    For permalink I added
    %category%/%postname%
Category base(not sure what it was called) I put in: blog
This is considering all my blog posts are under the category blog
    Portfolio entries base: portfolio
    Portfolio item base: paintings

As I said I will double check to make sure I got those correct or if my memory…
    All the best
