BerndHi Rikard,
Thanks, it works :-)
But do we have to insert this code snippet into each of our more than 250 WordPress websites with enfold…? Or is this planned for the next enfold update?

BerndMarch 5, 2026 at 2:04 pm in reply to: Adapted anchor links on mobile because of fixed header #1495781Hi,
The only difference I see, is, you moved the code from the end to the beginning of the functions.php. The error still occurs:
Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: a[href*=#]:not([href=#])And on mobile devices using Safari, the anchor with the H2 still disappears under the fixed header.

Thanks. The script was copied in functions.php of the child theme, line 84.

BerndMarch 4, 2026 at 3:03 pm in reply to: Adapted anchor links on mobile because of fixed header #1495738Yes, I copied the whole script. I also temporarily disabled caching and JS compression, but the error still occurs.

Okay, not recommended, but suggested ;-) If no caching plugin is installed, the Enfold theme displays the following message in the Performance tab:
We couldn’t detect any active caching plugin. It is recommended to use one to speed up your site. Here are a few suggestions:
No matter what I do, when the Super Cache plugin is active, I can’t save the theme. The following error occurs:
AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_blog_option() in /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wordpresstest.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase2.php:820\nStack trace:\n#0 /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wordpresstest.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase2.php(3079): get_supercache_dir()\n#1 /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wordpresstest.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wp-content/themes/enfold/includes/config-enfold/functions-framework.php(215): wp_cache_clear_cache()\n#2 /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wordpresstest.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(341): avia_force_clear_caches()\n#3 /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wordpresstest.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(365): WP_Hook->apply_filters()\n#4 /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wordpresstest.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wp-includes/plugin.php(522): WP_Hook->do_action()\n#5 /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wordpresstest.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wp-content/themes/enfold/framewo...', referer: https://wordpresstest.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx/wp-admin/admin.php?page=aviaI understand that the error is related to the super cache plugin. But when I reset the theme from 7.1.4 to 7.1.3, everything works fine. To me, it looks like a combination error between Enfold 7.1.4 and the super cache plugin.
Regards,
BerndHey Rikard
I reset the super cache plugin from 3.0.3 to 3.0.2, 3.0.1, and finally to 3.0.0. However, the problem still persists.
If I deactivate the plugin, the problem is solved. But as far as I remember, the super cache plugin is one of the cache plugins the enfold theme recommend? We have installed it on almost all of our WordPress websites – except for those with WP-Rocket.

Sorry for my late reply. I found this article in the knowledgebase from Plesk: https://www.plesk.com/kb/support/paid-theme-plugin-can-not-be-updated-in-wp-toolkit-in-plesk-error-no-themes-updated/.
Currently, WP Toolkit can update only non-paid plugins and themes. Paid themes and plugins should be updated manually directly in the WordPress Admin dashboard.
So the problem is related to WordPress Toolkit. You can close this topic.

BerndHi Ismael,
Sorry for my late reply. I tried activating delayed JS execution in WP-Rocket while disabling the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings. But whitout success. It only works, if the delayed JS execution in WP-Rocket is disabled. But that’s ok for me.

Regards,
BerndHi Rikard,
It works if you’re logged in under Firefox or Chrome. But today I experimented with the delayed JS execution. The Googlemap now works :-) Also if you’re logged out. But only because I disabled delayed JS execution. With enabled delayed JS execution and many JS exceptions it won’t work.
Perhabs you know the required JS exceptions for the enabled delayed JS execution?
Otherwise you can close this topic :-)Regards,
BerndHi Ismael,
No, I use the Googlemap element from the enfold editor, but with a placeholder image. Test page in private content.

BerndHi,
I know, that scripts in a text or code block could break the builder. But the iframe-code is correct, also a tested script. I am not a newbie… ;-) Both things works on many of our other client-websites with enfold.
Anyway… The problem is solved ;-) I found out that in combination with the theme Enfold and the plugin wp-Typography causes the problem and removes any custom HTML code or scripts from the source code. Use the css-class “donotseparate” in the code block element and everything is fine :-)

BerndHi Mike
Sorry for my late reply. I figured out the problem in the delayed execution of javascripts in WP-Rocket. With an exception for the JS /dynamic_avia/avia-head-scripts-(.*).js it works now perfectly :-)

Hi Mike,
Sorry for my late reply. It’s a strange problem, because the deactivation of WP-Rocket’s deferred JS doesn’t helped always..
Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to solve the problem yet and our customer doesn’t want higher support costs. In this case we switch to the Contact Form 7 plugin. You can close this topic.
Regards,
BerndHi Mike
I don’t think so. Because with the older Enfold 5.3 and WP-Rocket it works without any problems. And with the exception for Google reCaptcha in WP-Rocket’s deferred javascript execution the recaptcha works fine. But the form will not be submitted.
So there must be something new in the contact form since Enfold 5.3.
I tried it without any captcha and also then it won’t send the form :-(

Hi Mike
It looks like a combination error of WP-Rocket and Enfold. On another site with WP-Rocket and the older Enfold 5.3, the contact form worked fine (with reCaptcha v3). As soon as I updated Enfold to 5.6.2, the contact form no longer works there either…
I made a small contact form with only three required fields for testing: Name, surname and email. Link in private content.
An exception for Google reCaptcha in WP-Rocket’s deferred javascript execution is active. Additionally I deactivated the caching of the test page. With this exception the error “Invalid reCAPTCHA form submitted. The form could not be submitted. Please refresh the page and try again.” won’t appear, the form closes after sending, but without a success-message.
The form works on Microsoft Edge! But not under Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

Hi Mike
We’re using Captcha v3 (with v2 failback) and PHP v8.1.2.
The suggested solution from the other user doesn’t work :-(

BerndMay 25, 2023 at 4:24 pm in reply to: Layout issue with serial events view (Events Calendar Pro) #1408547Hi Nikko
Sorry, there’s a misunderstanding… As you wrote earlier in this topic, there are some unclosed div-tags. So this istn’t a css problem ;-) There is an issue with the Theme in combination with the eventscalendar pro plugin, which should be solved. If you switch the theme, you will see, that the footer on the serial-event page is ok.
