By the way: I use a sidebar in the blog. The code in functions.php refers to entries without a sidebar.

Yes, it all works fine. In the contact form, the mail addresses to which the request should be sent are entered in the backend. However, the contact request is not sent to these mail addresses.
The mail address entered is available on the hosting provider’s server and works perfectly.

The problem is not reproducible because it only occurs after a technical update.
I will disable the plugin WP Cache Plugin, which has often caused problems. I will get back to you.
