Hi Ismael have you had any more thoughts about a perminent solution since this isn’t going to work as soon as someone adds a new blog?
Hi Ismael,
If I understand correctly what you are saying is it’s not possible to solve this problem permanently because you are using the final post id before the load more button. Would it be possible to add a function to add a class to the final post id to work with do you think?
thanks
Andy
Thanks Ismael,
That works great for me.Sorry Ismael, it’s the same as the one in the earlier private post.
no problem Ismael,
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for you help, but unfortunately doesn’t work for me. I think an event needs to be added to trigger after the “load more” button in addition to the load event but I’m not sure how to do this? Can you assist?
best wishes
Andy
Is there any new on this?
ThanksThis reply has been marked as private. Thanks Ismael,
I amended “if(i == 4)” since this moved it only 1 place up the timeline to “if(i == 100)” and tested when new items were added and this moved it right to the end.
Thank you so much for you help, this was really bugging me :)
Thanks Ismael,
I appreciate you help. I don’t think I explained myself well enough what we are look for is for the initial state to be the end of the slider. By default the slider starts at the first object and scrolls with the next timeline item coming from the right hand side. Put simply we want the state on the page opening to show the end of the timeline rather than the start.
thanks for your assistance
Andy
Hi Ismael,
Thank you for your advice, I’d like to start with the last item in the carousel visible rather than the first, I’m not sure what needs to be edited within the javascript but think it’s the createCarousel function, can you advise me to how to acheive this?
thanks
Andy
Thanks Rikard,
The css worked, that was the actual screenshot. In the interim i’ve come up with a work around the by reducing the width of the .av-flex-placeholder and adding a class to the preceeding column to add padding and a border so consider this closed.
many thanks
AndyThank you for that, that’s exactly what I needed :)
August 1, 2018 at 10:03 am in reply to: Increasing the Excerpt length for Masonry Blog Layout #992296Thank you Ismail, that worked great, It might be worth considering adding a box in the editor in order to make it easier for people to customize.
your help is greatly appreciated
