Thank you, it works! :D
I still don’t see it within Chrome Inspect tool.
But knowing the class I labeled is testimonial-blue, how do I make the entire box for Mr. Allen a different background color?
Thanks Jordan, I’ll provide the login below.
I section in question is the first testimonial (Mr. Allen’s) which I’ve named testimonial-blue.
You got it, Rikard, here you go https://kriesi.at/support/topic/video-not-autoplaying-in-fullwidth-easy-slider-or-fullscreen-slider/
Is it safe to say this issue is still unresolved?
I have a site that also is not auto playing a video in the Fullwidth Easy Slider module on the Home page.
WordPress 4.9.8
Child Theme of Enfold 4.5
Plugins installed: Duplicate Pages
Plugins removed: LayerSliderThank you!
Thanks, Rikard.
I did stage the site and updated via FTP and found no issues. Then I updated the live site and all is well.
I appreciate your tips and I will definitely look into your additional recommendations.
Thanks again!
Hey Rikard.
What is the best way to update the parent Enfold theme on a live site?
Dude, thank you! That did work. I appreciate this tip! :D
Hey Dude.
I did as you instructed and when re-activating the child theme, the website is again broken.
In fact all info from the backend of the Theme Options have been removed.
Still looking for a resolution here but I appreciate your feedback so far.
Thank you.
Hey Jordan.
We have already searched all pages and databases for the typo and it only remains in the child theme’s stylesheet.
And the screenshot is a link to download by wetransfer.com since your forum still doesn’t allow for us to upload images.
But I’ve uploaded it here as well: https://ibb.co/eCeTuz
Thank you.
August 16, 2018 at 9:13 pm in reply to: Sudden influx of wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/ in Google Index #998157I’m still unsure as to what to do. Yoast says don’t block theme files in robots.txt and you’re saying to block theme files.
August 16, 2018 at 6:06 pm in reply to: Sudden influx of wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/ in Google Index #998056Hey Ismael.
I can add the disallow to robots, no problem. But that also publicly displays the name of our theme which I’d rather not do. But if there’s no other way, I’ll do it.
I’m aware anyone can figure out the theme being used, but I don’t want to make it so easy, you know?
And I’m still curious if you know why this is something that only recently started showing up the past couple months.
What’s changed recently?
August 15, 2018 at 6:09 pm in reply to: Sudden influx of wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/ in Google Index #997633Hey Ismael.
I have not, but I could. I’m just concerned it would affect the website. What are your thoughts?
Also, this is a new issue, what changed in the last month or two?
Perfection. Thank you, Rikard!
See private, thank you.
April 27, 2018 at 5:26 pm in reply to: Topbar phone info refuses to center on mobile devices #948047Interesting… now this simple code works:
div.phone-info {
width: 100%;
text-align: center;
}Thanks for your time, we’re good!
April 27, 2018 at 5:07 pm in reply to: Topbar phone info refuses to center on mobile devices #948043Hey Victoria.
I added that code myself because I needed it to center on desktop as well.
I’ve now deactivated cache plugins and minification.
Have a crack at it as soon as you’re able. Thank you.
Hey Victoria.
While your help accomplished the goal, for Windows users, for some reason it does not go to full width on Mac users.
How is this even possible? Does Mac not accept display:none?
If you view the page in question, you’ll notice 2 of the paragraphs in Safari and Chrome, on a Mac computer, do not expand to fit the page.
Incredibly frustrated.
I’ve tried this and 2 other custom css provided by this forum in hopes to align the phone number text to be centered.
Does it matter if the backend is set to display top bar at the left or top bar at the right?
Link in private area below.
Hey Victoria.
I made the fix myself.
I am still having issues on another part of the page, however, but I made a separate thread for that.
Thank you.
Hey, Ismael, thank you for your help. Looks like it fixed the issue.
However, now the topmenu has been made too wide and overlaps the logo on desktop.
Also, every single contact form on the right sidebar has now been pushed to the bottom of every page.
Please let me know what changes you made so I can get these fixed asap.
Thank you!
Thank you, Jordan.
I have added your original code below, at the top of the child theme css file.
@media only screen and (max-width: 768px) and (min-width: 1024px) { .avia-builder-el-19 .av_one_third{ width:86%!important; }}
You have full access should you need to tweak anything.
I appreciate your time with this.
Thanks, Victoria, but no go.
I’ve added your code and they don’t stack, on landscape or portrait.
Not sure what to do as I cannot publish this page until I can find a fix.
Hey Jordan, thanks for the help.
I added the above code and notice in Landscape on iPad, only the 2nd and 3rd boxes are stacked, leaving the first box standing alone.
And in Portrait, all 3 are still side-by-side instead of stacked.
We’re almost there! What edits should I perform to get it working for all boxes on both Landscape and Portrait?
I have deactivated Autoptimize per your recommendation, Victoria. Looking forward to finding a fix here, thank you.
Hey Jordan.
Admin access was provided in my original post above.
I have deleted cache and disabled WP Fastest Cache as well.
Thanks again for your help, I appreciate it.
Hey Jordan.
I had it at the bottom of the child style.css file, but after your note, I added it to the top.
No difference buddy.
Hey Jordan.
Thank you for your advice, however, that changed nothing.
What made you think that would work?
Ugh, so sorry, Jordan. Password is found below in private.
Thanks, Mike. That did the trick!
Homepage video wasn’t loading, however, so I went in and re-saved the Advanced Styling and we’re back in business.
Thanks again! -
