    Hi Victoria,

Ahh I didn’t realize I needed to update via the plugin itself. Just did that and deactivated the jQuery plugin, and it seems to be working for now!

Thank you! I appreciate the assistance.

    Rikard –

Thank you! The jQuery migrate plugin did the trick. Any idea how long this will be stable for though? The following notices give me the sense that I can’t rely on this solution long-term:

“This plugin, called Enable jQuery Migrate Helper, is not a fix. It is a temporary solution to give your plugin and theme authors time to update.”

“You are currently using a legacy version of jQuery. It has no support and doesn’t receive security updates. Please upgrade as soon as possible.”

Also – I installed and activated the Envato Market plugin, but I’m still getting this message that the theme is up to date:

“No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.7.5)”

Thanks for your help so far! Relieved that the header is working as it should now, but I’m a little nervous about longevity of the solution (and it’s odd to me that I can’t seem to get the theme update).

    Hi Rikard,

Updating the theme was my first thought when this happened, but when I go to Theme Update, it tells me:

“No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.7.5)”

Any idea why I’m not seeing an option to update?

    Victoria –

Below are some screenshots showing the issue, and there are login credentials in the private content box.

Thank you for your help! Let me know if you need anything else.

Screenshot of the top of my About page. This looks correct – when scrolled all the way to the top, this header should be transparent with white text in the main menu: Screenshot #1

Once you begin scrolling, the header is supposed to shrink and revert to a thin, white header with blue text in the main menu, and the logo should revert to the navy blue one. At this point in the scroll, I’m pretty sure the header should be shrinking and visible as thinner and white: Screenshot #2

As you scroll further down the page, the header remains in its transparent format with white text, which makes it very hard for the visitor to see and use the main menu: Screenshot #3
