Sorry – one more question. When I ftp the files for the update to the parent theme, I assume I just ftp the files over, and the current ones will be replaced? Is there a need to delete the old files first?
Thanks,
This is great. In your opinion, will the images from Pexels always be free? I am asking because if Getty Images buys into pexels, then would Getty Images possibly try to obtain fees for those images?
Thank you.
Yes everything is working great. It was a learning curve but worthwhile. Thanks for your help
Demo ok now – used IE
When I try to import a demo it does not work.
I would like to switch from the coming soon demo to 2017 demo. Is it necessary to clear everything out or will the switch take care of everything?
Ok I found a reply in the forum that shows css to show submit button with color – works great.
I am still working on showing only posts with certain category on home page.
Ok – I changed the font on the contact form and all is good.
I think I may go ahead and give this theme a try – using the advanced editor or the default and not mixing the two in any way.
One thing please – on the contact form: http://041552d.netsolhost.com/WordPress/ I need to change the submit button to Green (the hover color) How do I do this? I would like the viewers to see a green submit button with the black text – SUBMIT.
Once I get this, I will probably go with the 2017 Demo. How do I do this since I have installed the Coming Soon Demo. Can I write over this one? Or should I use the plugin mentioned in the control panel to clear everything out. Sorry – please let me know what this plugin is – hard to find the link again.
One more question – Is there a way to change backgrounds, headers, etc for a specific page / post? AND – Am I able to display only posts with a specific category on the home page?
Thanks,
BobOk – Please check out this page – I cannot enter data into the contact form.
So this means that I can only use either the advanced editor or the default editor and absolutely not mix the two. If I even open one or the other while using one, then the code in the page will break.
I guess I would have to disable the advanced editor, as much as I would like to use it.
I assume that ALL shortcodes will work if I do not mix the two?
This sounds like a terrible bug that would greatly slow down progress.
WHen you are in my wordpress backend, please check out all pages and you will see what I am talking about.
When using the editor, it appears that html tags show up in the text section and not in the visual section. HOwever, there are NO SHORTCODES available in the text section – only in the visual section – shouldn’t these be available in the text section and NOT seen in the visual section? My goodness – HELP!
When using the default editor, why is the short code [shortcode ] text and brackets showing up in the Visual section. I believe this should be only be in the text section and the visual would show what it looks like.
Can I use the advanced editor in conjuction with the default editor? For example – use the advanced editor, and switch to the default editor in text mode and see the coding and adjust and add text, etc.
Why is my favicon not showing up?
Also – when editing the coming soon page, the advanced editor works fine, but when I click on the default editor – there is nothing there.
I am not sure this theme is working correctly.
I would also like to limit posts on the home page to only those that have a certain category – such as home page.I have decided to use wp maintenance plugin – this works fine. However, I need to install the 2017 demo. Can I do this over the Coming Soon demo? Is it necessary to remove the Coming Soon completely before importing the 2017 demo?
Under Enfold Theme Options Front page settings is COMING SOON PAGE (Select which page to display on your Frontpage. If left blank the Blog will be displayed)
And where do you want to display the Blog? COMING SOON PAGE -
