yes, that’s it exactly.
thanks, that did the trickIsmael,
I dont understand your instructions “please try to put it above the Quick CSS field”Do you mean that the order of the quick css matters, and that I need to put this new css above my existing css?
If so, I tried that and see no change – the underlines are still there. Here is my entire Quick CSS as it is currently:
.html_header_top .header_color .main_menu ul:first-child >li > ul, .html_header_top #top .header_color .avia_mega_div > .sub-menu { border-top: none !important; } body { font-size: 18px; } .header_color .main_menu ul ul { background-color: transparent; color: black; } .header_color .main_menu .menu ul li a { background-color: rgba(248,248,248,0.7); color: black; } .header_bg { opacity: 1; } .main_color div.hr span, .main_color div.hr { border-color: blue;}
If that’s not what you mean, I am not sure how to place the CSS you provided “above the Quick CSS field’.
Thanks for your assistanceIsmael,
Thanks for your reply. I saved the Quick CSS above and there is no change. Underline still appearing. I did try clearing my cache first. Perhaps I have existing quick CSS that is preventing your code from taking effect? Here is what I have currently in my quick css:.header_color .main_menu ul ul { background-color: transparent; color: black; }
.header_color .main_menu .menu ul li a { background-color: rgba(248,248,248,0.7); color: black; }.header_bg {
opacity: 1;
}.main_color div.hr span, .main_color div.hr {
border-color: blue;}.html_header_top .header_color .main_menu ul:first-child >li > ul {
border-top: none;
}thanks! that did the trick
Oh I got it now. Thanks for your help.
Ah I see now. I needed to clear my cache. Because the name doesn’t change for some reason, and I was seeing the old cached icons, I assumed it wasn’t working.
Thanks for resolving this. It appears to me that it can only hold one additional zip at a time – can you confirm that? So I will need to repackage the one set using fontello as I add/remove icons? Easy enough to do I suppose.
thanks

Peter (or whoever responds), I was able to restore access to my site & admin panel by deleting the code you provided via dreamweaver/filezilla.
I am still interested in your solution (above) to my original question – could there perhaps be an error in the code you gave me? Or, perhaps I did something wrong in modifying the child theme functions.php file (please see the screen cap I provided above)? I’d like to try this again, as it sounds like the solution I’m looking for.
thanks
Thanks for this reply Peter.
I pasted the above code into my child functions.php file via the WP-admin panel and now the site and the WP admin panel will no longer load. The attached screen cap shows my functions.php code (which I managed to capture before completely loosing access to the site).
I even tried deleting this new code and resaving, but the site and dashboard will no longer load at all.
Any help?

This reply has been marked as private.Yigit – in your reply above from June 16, you provide a screen cap of the Magic Wand menu – I’m wondering why my magic wand menu doesnt look like this or offer all those options? I’m running Enfold v 2.9. Wondering if I’m missing a plugin, or if I’ve overlooked a setting somewhere.thanks
nevermind. answered my own question (and cant see a way to delete this post) – thx.July 19, 2014 at 8:09 pm in reply to: how to prevent header overlapping fixed color section? #293450Resolved
