Hi – thank you for figuring this out. Once I cleared the server cache on my host, the hover CSS finally worked!!!! I don’t know how the CSS got into the customizer, but removing that was the ticket; thank you!!!!!
I really appreciate your help!!!You may close this issue now…
May 24, 2021 at 3:48 pm in reply to: Pages not displaying current CSS from child style.css file #1302039Hi – I purchased a Support subscription but not sure if this is proper way to get an answer to a problem?
I am urgently in need of help with this. For some reason, Enfold keeps using a stylesheet that does not exist anymore. In Dev tools it shows it is using a miinified file with something like this: (index) style.css?ver=4.8.2
but, if you look at my child stylesheet, the css for this element is not the same.
I have done these things:
Followed all Enfold support instructions on how to clear the cache, etc. changing performance settings
Cleard server cache
Cleared browser cache
Run on my localhost PC and done all the above.Nothing has worked.
If I change something else – like ‘H3’ in footer, it won’t show up either, but if I go through the steps of clearing browser cache (in Chrome, cmd-shift-R) it doesn’t show up, but then if I clear server cache and do another cmd-shift-R, the H3 changes will show up. But I can never ever get the :hover to show up.
please reply if I need to post elsewhere for paid support.
thank youHi again,
One of our developers accidentally placed some CSS in the sidebar.php file. Once removed, all works well.
Issue close; thank you. This reply has been marked as private. Also, can someone from Enfold please help! Layslider does not display images on Firefox. Is there any option for premium support? I’ve been customer since 2014…
Hi again:
One more thing – I was able to turn off the animation using CSS, but the display of the icons is ‘delayed’. Why do they take so long to appear? My images load faster on the page than the icon fonts. Do I have too many fonts (I have 3 font sets loaded)? You can see what I mean here : http://bluemoonink.com/nlss2014/
Thank you
bluemooninkHello:
I am also trying to remove the icon animation. I edited the icon.php file as suggested and it had no effect. I tried with CSS, but seems there are many attributes to change and I’m not sure what else i might be effecting. Please advise!thank you
bluemooninkWow! worked perfectly – I would have never figured that out! Thank you so much,
BluemooninkThis reply has been marked as private.Hi:
I just copied my local site up to: http://www.bluemoonink.com/nlsstest
To see the 4th level menus, you will have to login (I will send those credentials in a private message shortly). If you click the last menu item (“Partners”) and then go to the 2nd level “Partner Sales Resources” and then “Partner Knowledge Center”, you can see the level I am trying to target.Any help is greatly appreciated (ignore the bad formatting – it is work in progress right now…)
bluemooninkHello again:
OK, my bad. The menu showing on my sidebar is actually coming from checking the “Page Sidebar Navigation” option under Sidebar in the theme settings – NOT the pages sidebar widget. sorry about that – anyway, the problem is still there. any help is greatly appreciated!bluemoonink.
Hi – thanks for quick response!
I am using the wordpress menu with UberMenu plugin. I don’t think ubermenu has anything to do with the issue though. The problem is that menu levels 3 & 4 have the same indent level on the sidebar menu. That menu is coming from using the Enfold Sidebar Pages widget. Here are some screen shots to show problem better. I just want to know how to target the CSS for the 4th level so I can put some kind of icon to differentiate menu level…. I’ve played around with it a lot and can’t figure it out as anything > level 2 has class=’children’, so I can’t target a specific level (at least with my CSS skills…)
Any help is greatly appreciated..
bluemooninkI am also looking for this and would like help in how to use the menu LABEL and NOT the menu title field? thanks much!
NEVERMIND – just realized it ussd page title and has nothing to do with the main menu…duh!

Worked like a charm! I forgot about using the ID for the CSS; now I know what it’s there for.
Thanks much! -
