Actually, I was able to resolve the problem but thank you for this information. I will refer back to it if I have similar problems in the future. Thank you.
Best!
This reply has been marked as private.Ok, great info. As for my last question. All websites have a size (depending on the number of photos, video, information, etc) right? I was wondering if there is a way to see how big my site is. . .6GB, 200GB? Does this make sense?
One last question. How can I see the size of my website as I am creating it?
Thanks!
Hi Jordan,
I did have one other question. When one of the demos from the Enfold theme is uploaded is it possible to bring in separate pages from other demos within the same theme? I don’t think it is as I have tried but the entire website style changes but just wondering.
Bobbie
Mike,
You are the man!!! Thanks so much for helping me because I was driving myself crazy with the menu. I will certainly be back with more questions so until then have a fantastic day.

If you look under the “All Pages” tab on the Dashboard I have created all the pages I want to include on the website. You should see two Services pages (one of them is headed Services (old)). The other one is the Services page I have created that I want to use. Like I stated when I go to add that tab on under the Appearances/Menu/Add Page tab it creates a totally new, blank Services page (not the one I created with pictures, text, etc.). I have tried this several times with the same result.
Also, the menu I am using is listed under Appearances/Menus/Previously Used Menu 5. Should I be listing these under Main Menu instead?
Hope this makes sense Mike.
Yes, Mike, you got it. I have created a Services page that I want to use. I go to Appearances, Menus then Add Page. When I type in Services the page heading is created which I am thinking will be linked to the Services page I already created but it creates a new Services page that is blank. My question is why doesn’t the theme populate the Services page I CREATED instead of a new blank page.
Also, none of the pages listed come up in the field for me to choose from except the Coming Soon page. Is that because it is the only one that is published right now with the rest of the pages marked as private? I have added some screenshots to help you understand my question.
Hey Mike,
This is my problem. Every time I make a Services page the theme doesn’t choose the page with the information on it. The page will be blank so I removed it.
Also, do the newly created pages have to be public in order for them to populate under the Pages tab in the Appearance/Menu section? Only the “Coming Soon” page populates but it is the only one I have publically visible right now.
Victoria,
Hmmmm all the “learn more” links just looks different but you have proven that they are not. I may play with the color just to get it darker. Thank you for showing me the color in the code window.
Bobbie
Victoria,
I added screen shots to the main content page and the tab under where I changed the color so you can see what I am talking about. If you go on any of the pages and hover over a link the color is wrong although it is listed correctly under the general styling tab. I have provided a temporary link for you to access my site. Thank you for your help. I look forward to getting your solution to my issue.

November 24, 2017 at 4:45 am in reply to: Adding Terms of Use and Privacy Policy link to footer #881007Will I have to make the TOS and PP document a link first then insert the link into the code?
November 24, 2017 at 3:50 am in reply to: Adding Terms of Use and Privacy Policy link to footer #880999Will this allow me to but the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy links in the socket? I want to be able to add them as a link in the socket.
Thanks.
The main content “hover link” color is different than the others but in the color selection section I choose the one I want. When I go to a page and hover over a link the color is still wrong. Subtle but noticable to me because I know which orange I want. I want “f68133” instead of “f5741d”. Thanks.
I put the screen shots in the private content but here they are again. Thanks!
November 23, 2017 at 9:36 am in reply to: Adding Terms of Use and Privacy Policy link to footer #880631Can a link be added to the copyright field? I need a hyperlink for the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. How do I add the links to the socket area? Is that possible? Help!!!
Nevermind because it worked!! Thanks so much!!
What if the text is not in a text box but I want to change it in its present location? Do I still add the code you provided or so I have to add it to the css location?
I am not fearful so to speak just new to web development and trying to gain some understanding as to how all this works. I realize that the child theme has only three files in it so that should make things really easy. My next question is how much functionality will my website have if much of the meat of the theme is in the parent theme and not in the child theme?
What are the three files that make the child theme better? I guess less is more in this case but still want to gain some understanding of what I am doing as I move along in the process. Any clarification you can offer would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Guenni007,
Can you explain the use of the child theme in a little more detail, please? Since you said no question is a dumb one to the original post I need someone to explain how/why to use it. The one thing I do know is that its useful if the parent theme is ever updated which I assume Enfold is and that a developer would lose all information if they only used the parent theme. However, I do not plan to change all that much on the original theme so do I really need to use the child theme or not? Thank you for your quick response to my questions.
Bobbie
PS. I have downloaded the child theme but have not activated it yet. Also, I have only made a Coming Soon page but wanted to wait before creating any other pages until I have satisfactory answers to my questions. Thanks for the insight to help me move forward.
Could it be that my photo resolution is too high because the one you uploaded had a resolution of 1200 x 600 whereas the one I was trying to upload was 6720 x 4480?
Ok which browser did you use? Firefox or Safari? Thanks.
Bobbie
Here is the link for temporary access to my website.
Here is the picture to try the upload. Not sure if the file size is a factor but the http error message came up when I tried to upload it several times. Thanks.

What email should I use for the temporary login? The plugin is asking for this information. Thanks.
Bobbie
This is the error I received the first time I tried to upload a image to the Enfold theme. Thanks.
