And also…
This worked Nikko. It gives me the result expected. On mobile I would like the “Main” 4/6 center column to present first, with the left 1/6 column second, and the right 1/6 column third. Can you help out on this?
I am sorry for all of the follow up posts. I am trying to solve issues while waiting. I think I have solved a couple of things. The last remaining issue seems to be this:
…. in the center column, I am actually using three Blog Page Elements each with different settings. The top of the three should be presenting as the full width of the center column. This Blog element is set to bring in only posts tagged as “Featured Post,” of which there will only be one per day. The setting on this Blog element is Single Author, big preview Pic (no author picture is displayed, feature image is big). For whatever reason, this will not display with these settings. Instead this Blog Post Element seems to be trying to break into columns (sub columns within the center column.
Update: I have used a different Blog Element setting on the last of the three. This eliminated some issues and could work for me.
Nikko, on my simple text columns within the Color Section test, things did appear to work. But, when I place some of my test content within each column, things have gone sour.
First, the left and right columns do not line up across the top. Left, Middle, and Right should all align at top. I have tried various settings on “Equal Height” etc. No success. In fact choosing equal height on the left column created other unexpected results.
Second, in the center column, I am actually using three Blog Page Elements each with different settings.
The second of the three Blog Elements will be set to pick up the most recent six posts in grid form essentially showing a week at a glance. Theis Blog Element appears to be working well.
And finally, the Third Blog Element will be set to present post in a simple list view for the rest of the month. This is kind of working, but the posts have off alignment. I would like them left aligned. Right now they are neither left, or centered.

I have followed the instructions noted above. I have successfully created a six column structure within a Color Section Element. A few follow-up questions:
- The overall width of the six columns (within the Color Section element is narrower than the columns built with Page Builder. Can the left and right margins be matched to previously built columns?
Thanks to your inout, and the added Quick CSS, I now have my six columns. What do I need to do to convert this to a 1/6, 4/6, 1/6 structure?
And finally, how do I use this 1/6, 4/6, 1/6 on other pages?Thank you.
Thank you Nikko. I try to find the more obvious things! Documentation is great—just hard to find at times.
Thank you Nikko. You help is very appreciated. You can close this ticket.
I solved my issues above through a lot of reading and trial and error. This was very frustrating that I never heard back from support on the issue. I ended up reading dozens of pages of support posts, only to find one that cited “lazy loading” under site Performance Options as a possible culprit. There is absolutely no way that I would hav e found this via searching. This seemingly unrelated setting was the issue. It is not that my Portfolio was improperly configured. It was that the load time on any image other than the Featured Image was absolutely crippled. It would take longer than two minutes for the other thumbnails to load on the page. So frustrating.
So now, my current question is this. My test page currently looks like this: https://phelansinteriors.com/portfolio-item/bridges-senior-lifestyle-living/
Not bad, but I am getting a very horizontal image that a user will then need to click on to get to the thumbnails. )Click the image). The effect I am looking for is like this: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio-item/single-portfolio-23-gallery-3/
In other words, I have no need for the interim click just to get to the thumbnails. I appreciate the help
I have to say I am surprised that I have not heard back from the support team on this question. Response times have always been very good, but on this we are now entering the 3rd day, and I have not heard a thing. Is support backed up? The site is now at a live URL. If I could a response on this, I would be very grateful. Thank you.
Is anyone able to respond on this?
Bill
Mike, thanks for your response. I think you may have checked in on the page after I made some adjustments—one of which was recommended by Rikard prior. Though his suggestion, some more trim and error, and eliminating some previous Quick CSS code, I think I have this closer to being resolved. Let’s go ahead and close this for now. I can reach out again if I end up stuck again. Thank you!
Rikard, I am sorry nut this did not work. Nothing seems to have changed. Also, I am looking for a solution for both the main blog page, and the single blog posts themselves. I applied this in Quick CSS and nothing changed.
That worked Victoria. Thank you so much.

July 3, 2019 at 6:13 pm in reply to: Using Layout Builder for blog pages. No thumbnail images on post category pages #1115538Can anyone pick up this question?
I have experimented with both. Stretched does make it some the top bar and footer extend full width. As for the Color Section, I would like to set it to a mex width, such as 1600px. How might I do that? Thank you Ismael.
Thank you Basilis. This can be closed.
Anyone???
