Any update on this Ismael?
Thank you.
I am wondering if this is currently being worked on. It appears that my Custom ID names are different than they were?
Ismael, thank you again for your help. I think we are on the same page with the additions to function.php, but it does not seem to be working.
I have added a kriesi user login in Private Content. Please review if you can. I have your suggested function.php snippet inserted.
Thank you,
Bill Basler
Ismael, thank you for the response. I have edited functions.php files before so I am comfortable with how to do that. However, I am not comfortable writing php…just kind of OK with viewing the code, and determining what it is doing.
The end goal happens on this page: https://preucil.org/fee-structure/
There are essentially 3 content “chunks” on this page:
1. Lessons. #lesson-fees
2. Preschool. #preschool-fees
3. Music Together. #music-together-feesThe three blocks have Custom ID Attribute assigned to them.
Now….this page is an example page: https://preucil.org/about-preucil-preschool/
On this page there is a sentence that reads: A full itemization of our preschool academic programs and fees can be viewed here. On this sentence “viewed here” links to: https://preucil.org/fee-structure/#preschool-fees and properly goes to that Custom ID. But I am wanting that folded content to be unfolded. Judging by the php edits, I think you are grasping what I am needing. After adding the snippet to functions.php, it does not seem to be unfolding the content as it should. I suspect there is something I need to edit within this text:
triggerClick(“#tuition-fees”, “.av-fold-unfold-tuition-fees”);
triggerClick(“#preschool-fees”, “.av-fold-unfold-preschool-fees”);
triggerClick(“#music-together-fees”, “.av-fold-unfold-music-together-fees”);For example, “lesson-fees” rather than “tuition-fees”?
As mentioned I have no experience in editing php, so I am in over my head here. In short, I have added the php snippet, but no positive results.
Site is now live. See new URL in private content
I have double-checked all server, site and firewall settings. I have browsed the URL by the countries that you indicated, and I see no issues from any, Philippines, Lithuania, Sweden, and Austria, using https://geotargetly.com/geo-browse
If this continues, please grab a screen shot of the error and send to me. We cannot seem to replicate the error.
No change to the domain. Please see my notes in Private Content
Rikard:
Thank you for this. On the custom ID solution. This is working, in that it is taking me to the correct page and loading the correct text block. But…I am using folded content on this block. I would like the content to be unfolded upon, or shortly after page load.
Thank you Rikard. This will likely be all I need on this. —Bill
This is a subdomain where I am building ut the site at. It should be up and steady? Not sure what the issue might have been. Please try again.
Another point: It appears to be just the Preucil Preschool menu that is running of the left edge of the screen—likely due to the staring position of the words Preucil Preschool, and the offset of the dropdown. Can this offset be reduced a fair amount so this does not happen?
Thank you Mike. I see the fix now. I appreciate your help. —Bill Basler
Ismael:
Thank you for this. Am I to add that to Quick CSS? I have done that and I do not see any difference in my lists on the page. Perhaps there are adjustments I need to make in the Text Editor of the page?
Currently I have this:
<ol> <li>Certificate of Participation in Musical Studies. <ul> <li>Completion of courses with minimum grades of 88%</li> <li>Performance on a partner recital or submission of 500 word essay on an assigned subject</li> </ul> </li> <li>Certificate of Excellence in Musicianship. <ul> <li>See 1a above</li> <li>completion of Advanced Level instrumental requirements by March 1 of Senior Year</li> <li>performance on partner recital</li> </ul> </li> <li>Certificate of Excellence with Performance Honors</li> <li>See 1a above</li> <li>Completion of pre-professional instrumental requirements before Senior year. Playing must show refinement of tone, intonation, technique and communicate sensitivity and expression</li> <li>Performance of a solo recital before graduation</li> </ol>
Ismael, thank you for responding. To be clear on the example page I provided (https://preucil.baslerdesign.com/curriculum/ )
You must open the folded content: “Velay Certificate Program” Note: Lists are currently unresolved. Round bullets should be lowercase letters.
See my screenshot here: https://img.savvyify.com/images/2024/05/30/Screenshot-2024-05-30-at-12.02.07PM.png
I was not too far into this page so it did not warrant further troubleshooting. I have used Enfold extensively on over a dozen different sites—this is the first time I had seen this issue, so I am chalking it up to a glitch.
I was able to delete the Text Objects create new objects. There was no html tags on the old blocks, but something was awry. The next Text Blocks, with new text pasted in being sure there were no extraneous code snippets did the trick.
This thread can be closed as resolved. Thank you.
Following upon this. Yes, I am currently at 5.7.1. WordPress: 6.5.3, and PHP: 8.2.19

I have a very similar issue. I am experiencing the same odd behavior on the admin of my page. I have a page where I have a simple mix of content, ie: photos and supporting text. The page I am building is at a mid point—not finished yet because to the issues I am having.
https://preucil.baslerdesign.com/curriculum/
In short, when I edit the page, then go to either of the text blocks, I cannot see any of the text to edit it. The text shows on the front end. But on the back end all I see is the placeholder text, “Click here to add your own text.”
To be clear, I already added text to these two blocks, but when I return to the backend to edit that text, all I see is: “Click here to add your own text.” This is true of the Visual Editor and the Text Editor.
I have cleared browser cache. The site does flow through Cloudflare, but I have cleared those caches as well. I have tried several different browsers, Safari and Chrome. All plugins have been disabled. No steps that I have taken allow me to see, and subsequently edit this text.

March 3, 2023 at 3:34 pm in reply to: Edits to previously provide code for Blog Post page element #1400031I know I am being a bit slow here. I have read, one rat years, about custom classes and other tricks that can be added through developer settings. That part I do understand, but I do not see Developer Settings, as a selection within the Advanced tab of my featured blog post element. I have tried to enable the Custom Elements option (Theme Options > Custom Elements) but this does not give me the option to add css under the Advanced tab in the blog element. I know I have seen the css field elsewhere as I was adding content. I just cannot seem to find the right combination to enable it here. I have done quite a bit through quick css, but I need to find where to assign a class name to this blog element. Thank you.
March 1, 2023 at 4:02 pm in reply to: Edits to previously provide code for Blog Post page element #1399690Ismael, this worked for the top (formerly tagged as Featured) post. This blog element is set to pul in just today’s post. If you refer to my site URL: https://www.woodyboater.com
You will see that in the next blog element down, there is a grid of six posts—same Blog element, different settings, then below that a list view of posts—again, same blog element, different settings.
You code adjustment worked…it made the h2 bigger (32px) for the top story. This is desired. But it also changed the size of the H2s on all of the lower stories as well. Not desired.
Is there any way to limit this edit to just the top blog element? Thank you.
Thank you for the excellent support Ismael. As always. Your team is top notch. This worked for my needs. You can close this request. —Bill
February 11, 2023 at 11:11 pm in reply to: Header logo size and padding for desktop and mobile sizes #1397613Only a slight tweak to the size to accommodate the smallest of mobile sizes and this works beautifully, Mike. Thank you very much for your expert guidance. This thread can be closed.

Thank you Nikko. I think I have a handle son this now. I appreciate your help. You can close this thread.

Your fixes are good. Things are improving. Thank you.
Addressing Problem 2. The top blog post element features an image that extends across the full width of the center column. This is desired and correct. However, I would like to have this image be “taller.” Right now, the aspect ratio is approximately 2.5:1. —or 2.5 times as wide as it is tall. I would like this image to be taller—as in not crop the photo as much. Please see rough Photoshop mockup:
https://baslerdesign.com/wp-content/uploads/Classic-Boats-Woody-Boater-–-Classic-Boat-News-and-Information-copy-scaled.jpg- Assuming you suggest an edit to Quick CSS to fix this, it would be preferable to have a height %/px dimension that I can edit to arrive at the best height.
- In addition to this, I would like the Blog Post headline and the Blog post excerpt to left align at the same line as the photo. Essentially this will use the entire middle column without wide margins.
- And finally, on the lower blog grid, it seems like a recent edit created an unexpected consequence. I would like the images for the 6 grid posts to be perfect squares. It seems that the one in the lower left is wanting to show the entire image rather than cropping it to a square as on the others.
Thank you Nikko.

Nikko, again, thank you for your excellent support. The code you have provided has definitely worked and fixed the issues I stated previously. Unfortunately, it seems new issues have been introduced. I have screen captured my page and addressed the issues on the screen capture.
https://baslerdesign.com/wp-content/uploads/Classic-Boats-Woody-Boater-scaled.jpg
I have also created an admin login for you if it is easier to login and see what is going on. I feel that if I can get to the bottom of these new issues, we will be getting down the road on this. Thanks in advance.
And also…
This worked Nikko. It gives me the result expected. On mobile I would like the “Main” 4/6 center column to present first, with the left 1/6 column second, and the right 1/6 column third. Can you help out on this?
I am sorry for all of the follow up posts. I am trying to solve issues while waiting. I think I have solved a couple of things. The last remaining issue seems to be this:
…. in the center column, I am actually using three Blog Page Elements each with different settings. The top of the three should be presenting as the full width of the center column. This Blog element is set to bring in only posts tagged as “Featured Post,” of which there will only be one per day. The setting on this Blog element is Single Author, big preview Pic (no author picture is displayed, feature image is big). For whatever reason, this will not display with these settings. Instead this Blog Post Element seems to be trying to break into columns (sub columns within the center column.
Update: I have used a different Blog Element setting on the last of the three. This eliminated some issues and could work for me.
Nikko, on my simple text columns within the Color Section test, things did appear to work. But, when I place some of my test content within each column, things have gone sour.
First, the left and right columns do not line up across the top. Left, Middle, and Right should all align at top. I have tried various settings on “Equal Height” etc. No success. In fact choosing equal height on the left column created other unexpected results.
Second, in the center column, I am actually using three Blog Page Elements each with different settings.
The second of the three Blog Elements will be set to pick up the most recent six posts in grid form essentially showing a week at a glance. Theis Blog Element appears to be working well.
And finally, the Third Blog Element will be set to present post in a simple list view for the rest of the month. This is kind of working, but the posts have off alignment. I would like them left aligned. Right now they are neither left, or centered.
