Thats it , thanks!
Going to rethink how to deal with this section of the site,
Thanks again!
OK, thanks.
By the way, I am not sure what happened but for some reason on the masonry view of the blog posts, the element title is no longer displaying on top of the post image in the grid view?
Thanks,
I am experimenting with using a grid layout for the “News” blog posts. I noticed however that when one clicks on the post and goes to the News post page that the left and right buttons to go to other posts is looking at posts other than the “News” category. Same issue is also happening for the “you Might Also Like” section.
Can not seem to figure out how to keep both those issues only relevant to the “news” category of posts.
Thanks!

Hi Mike,
OK, yes please undo the changes.
Thanks for trying to make it work, I will instead solve the design issue within the boundaries of the theme.

And what are the long term potential issues, like when there is a major update to the theme, will I need to reconfigure the functions.php file?
Are there any other issues or responsibilities I would need to be aware of?
What if I decide to change my News / blog , what happens to each post I created that had shortcake added to the text tab?
Hi Mike,
Are you saying that if I want the full post to show while using the layout builder I will need to cut and paste code each time I create a new post?
Hi Mike,
Thanks, I created an admin user for you guys,
Hey Mike,
I checked Screen Options and the excerpt box is empty!
Any other thoughts?

Yes, thanks!
I see, thanks Mike!
Thanks Jordan, I see how that works, great!
My ideal would be to present the Instagram posts like a latest post entry type slider where you can click a right arrow to view more IG posts.
Is that somehow possible?
Thanks again!

OK, great, I will do that asap, was looking out for that update.
THANKS,
GB
I think it may be a plugin conflict?
I have de activated Google XML Sitemaps and Jetpack the problem seems to have disappeared.
Also, I am running Enfold 3.8.4 and I noticed that Enfold 3.8.5 was just released, helpful update?

Hey,
Yea, it is working fine now for me as well. I refreshed but can’t remember if I dumped the cache, either way, thanks!

Hi Rikard,
So strange as I did that. I am wondering if my hosting provider / server issue?
September 20, 2016 at 6:17 pm in reply to: Help! Was adding a page to the Menu and all went crazy! #689468Thanks Ismael,
I was able to gain access to my shared hosting php.ini file and made both modifications, so thanks!
I rebuilt the menu and so far it is holding, hopefully that is a sign that it worked.
Much appreciated,
GB

It seems the Uber 3 update helps with the solution options,
Thanks again.

September 16, 2016 at 6:13 pm in reply to: Help! Was adding a page to the Menu and all went crazy! #687674Hi Digit,
Thanks for this link, had no idea that server could limit the number of menu items.
First Question: The two options mentioned as adding code via .htaccess file is it also adding the code via php.ini or is that just an other option to choose from?
Second Question: After the code is added, what happens when I update the theme or WordPress, do I need to re install the code or is this outside the updating environment?
Third Question: Are my Menu’s lost now?
Thanks,
GB
September 16, 2016 at 4:55 pm in reply to: Help! Was adding a page to the Menu and all went crazy! #687613By the way, I was just adding a menu item to the Nav bar via menus, then hit save and this happened. When I go back to the menus section, it look like half my nav menu items are missing including the entire Nav bar itself. This is really strange!
Any help much appreciated.

August 25, 2016 at 4:26 pm in reply to: best way to set up Google Analytics with Enfold theme? #677626I will try rephrasing the question :-)
I am not asking about a specific plugin so much as I am interested to know what the best protocol is in regards to implementing Google Analytics with the Enfold theme?
I saw that the theme has a place specifically for pasting in Google Analytics code and I also see that there are plugins available.
I am wondering what the opinion approach is from the Enfold community.
Thanks,
GB
I figured it out :-)

Ahh, I see, OK, is there a way so that the no footer option becomes the default for all pages already created and any new pages created in the future? As it seems that it only effects the single page.
Thanks,
GB

Thanks for the responses all!

Thanks for the reply Vinay. Could you explain to me what the benefit is of a block and reserving space? Sorry not following that part, thanks..
Thanks,
Now if I use the provided script, is that something I will need to paste back into the functions.php each time I update the theme?
Hi Andy,
When using the post slider and featured image for blog post entries, is that simple-image-sizes plugin the best approach to keep WordPress from cropping the featured image?
It would be great if there was a way not dependent on a plugin but I am heeding the opinion of experienced users :-)
Thanks,
GB
Hi Yigit,
Here is the site:
On the home page when you scroll down, you will see the issue with regards to Recent Works.
If you click artworks, I am using the blog post to show my work and there it does not seem to be an issue with image cropping.
Thanks,
GB

Is there a way to do this using the quick css code option within the Enfold Theme to avoid having to modify the PHP. Functions file every time there is an update?
Thanks,
GB
