Ahh crap, I do have Woocommerce, did not think about that one…
Does that mean I will need to delete and re install Woocommerce and woocommerce payments?
Actually, I don’t need it for now, so I can just delete Wocommerce.

OK great, I was not sure if the process of importing an Enfold template changes other back-end areas of WordPress besides the Pages, posts and media library. If there is no other place I should check into?

Hi Niko,
Since I did not want to erase plugins , I just decided to try and delete all media, all posts and all pages. Then I installed an other demo template. It seemed to have worked fine. Can you think of a reason why that might be a problematic way that I did it?

Hi Mike,
I uploaded the Envato Market Plugin as you suggested and it did update the theme although the problem of posts starting at #738 and on still do not show the text excerpts. Would the next step be to see if it is a plugin conflict even though that does not really make sense to me?

So I went to go update the Enfold theme however it is not offering the option as it states “you are running the latest version which is 5.0.1However, Enfold is at 5.6.2
When I click Check Manually, it says I am up to date.
Any suggestions how to resolve this issue?

not sure what’s going on, usually when I post a question, there is a response within 24 hours.I already bumped my question on day two as it went unanswered and buried.
I am bumping again on day three, is it just going missed or has support changed?
I hope not as I just paid the renewal fee to get support extended just to ask this question.

I actually had already double checked those areas of the Yoast plugin and they have the correct words but when I click to save the homepage to the browser, install says “Home- Gregory Beylerian
I purged cache and the updated writing was added yesterday yet it still reads incorrectly.
I am wondering where else Yoast may be altering how this info is read because I am not having this issue on an other Enfold site which does not have Yoast plugin.

Sorry for my NUBE ignorance, I was not able to see where in the Yoast SEO plugin one sets the data for the home page tag line?
Hmm, I am using the Yoast SEO plugin for this site. Could that be the culprit?

I noticed for the post you got working the shortcode is like this:
[audio mp3="https://suziesunshine.net/epostle/nextstep/NS738_072822.mp3" preload="auto"][/audio]
Does this mean I will have to manually go thru all 700 posts and modify the code to read like yours to get it to render inside the preview?
Or might there be some kind of easier way?

Looking to see if anyone understands why the audio symbol is not showing up on the grid view of imported posts that are format clicked as an audio post.
BTW – The audio link is in the post and works fine.

There are 700 posts imported from an other wordpress site and if I click on text view the audio code that brings up the player is:

[audio src="https://suziesunshine.net/epostle/nextstep/NS738_072822.mp3" /]The podcast plays no problem, furthermore I thought the sound player visual shows up in the small view of the post when the audio is clicked as the format. I understood that that visual which defines what kind of post it is was controlled by choosing that format function of WordPress.
The Next Step is a weekly Podcast that is mostly done is audio format. There are writings and videos as well and other audio recording that are sometimes podcasts as well. Well over 1000 posts. So the client is wanting to organize the life’s work under a Nav bar menu called MEDIA. The Drop Down menu would be Audio, Video and Writings. So after much consideration, we decided to make those be the categories and all the titles of different series, some which continue and some which have stopped would be tagged by their series name and a few other relevant tags, 3 to 5 total.
So the Next Step would be a tag under this approach. I created a Page called the Next Step and using the blog posts content element to filter for just those posts. And use category like Audio to show pages that have all the Audio based material., etc…

Thanks a lot for that link, I will be trying this out and see how it goes, I am using the Church theme / Enfold as a base and hope the formatting / design of posts stay the same?
I also wonder about tags for each of the 100’s of blogger posts, I guess it will be a manual walk thru?
Lastly, is there a similar approach for youtube videos?
