Thanks Ismael – it seems to be working now. I wanted it to be muted, so no problem there.
Do you know why the problem was occurring? If I change the video, will it be a problem again?
Also, there’s still a link from the slider, which brings up a different video in a lightbox. It’s not a deal-breaker or anything, but I still don’t really understand why things went wrong…
Hi, Just wondering if this one has slipped through the cracks… should I re-post?
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your response, and sorry for the delay getting back to you.
Have added the email address and link to the private content, as per your instructions. I hope that’s everything you need.
The LayerSlider WP that appears beneath the header, when you open the home page on a desktop (it’s set to a different slider when opening on a mobile device, which uses images, and appears to be functioning correctly) contains one video layer. However, it does not autoplay without navigation controls, as it should/used to, but instead remains paused, with a play button visible. When you click to play the video (or anywhere inside the slider), a different video from my portfolio opens in a lightbox window.
Any help muchly appreciated!
All the best,
Tom
No worries Yigit, I figured it out. It’d been so long since I set it all up, I thought it was all done automatically by the theme, but I found it under Appearance > Menus > Footer Menu. Not sure why those two buttons had reset their values, but it’s all good now.
Thanks for your help!
Tom
Here it is..
Hi Yigit,
I’m not sure how to do that – I think I need an email address..
Tom
Okay, please forgive me for being greedy with the cool new things (and quite possibly naively optimistic), but is there a way to create a gallery – say five columns wide – with navigation to scroll horizontally to the next five images, rather than having the images stack up in a grid? I guess I could use a slider, but I’d like to maintain the ability to open up individual large images in the lightbox. Wracking my brains to think what else might do that job…
Cheers, and just give me a slap if I’m being green!Well there’s a whole new thing I didn’t know how to do! You’re a genius, Josue, thank-you!!
Hi Yigit,
Thanks for the code. That’s brilliant – thanks!
Unfortunately the site is in its infancy, and not in a fit state to go live just yet. I currently have the colour section background image set to repeat, which is pretty ugly but will do for now.
Could you confirm, is that what the ‘stretch to fit’ option should do – resize the image depending on the browser size? Wondering if I should create a new background image that doesn’t look ugly when tiled.
Thanks again!
BersgardSorry for multiple queries, but I would also like to add a background image to a colour section, and for it to resize to fill the background of the section as the browser window is resized. When I choose ‘stretch to fit’ from the colour section’s ‘background repeat’ options, the image seems to appear at its normal dimensions with no repeat or resize, and blank space all around. Am I doing something wrong?
I’m a bit green with all this, in case you haven’t guessed!Hi thanks!
Yeah, when I came back to it today everything seemed to be working fine, so guess it must be a browser problem.
Could you tell me, is there any way to change the Subheader/Breadcrumbs font colour independently of the Alternative Content font colour?
Thanks again – loving the theme muchly :) -
