if you have not do any modifications to the theme, you can replace the files. Any settings will be there, and not replaced.

Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem.
If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).– switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

From what I can hear, it seems that there might be some HTML somewhere as a tag or something, which needs to be fixed.
I am not so sure about that, although.Check it and if the error is still there, we can also see it together.

As I can see, you are not using any cache or something related. Your website although for me ( from Greece ) loaded almost in 2 seconds, which is a nice score.
You could try to optimize / cache your web site by using any service like wprocket, w3total cache or optimisation.io
