as long as you have a backup, both options can work great!
For automated update only issue can be, that your hosting might expire from the size and fail on the backup, but that is happening not a lot!

That is not a bug, that is how email is working.

If you want to change the header image, based on the subdomain, please also work on the same code, to header.php at the logo area.
Although, creating a subdomain as Yigit called out, is the best way / solution.Let us know if you have more issues

You can control the button CSS with :

I would suggest to use bigger images, so they can resize properly, but without having a look at it, I am not sure what else can be wrong.

You can try use WPML or Qtranslate.
Both are good options and working fine with Enfold ( and if not both support can assist you on any issue ).
Other option is to create different WordPress installations, of each of the language.Let us know if we can help you with anything else.
