I have loged in to your site but could not define what the change was to be honest.
You will have to remember what was it, else you will need to go ahead and edit the header.php file and hardcode add a logo, to replace any other element / code that there is there.Cheers!

The header.php file, can just be copyed from the original theme, to the child theme.
Then, it will get over-writted. Please do let us know if you have any more questions, we will be more than happy to help you out.Cheers!

I am not sure, but the issue is that the menu does not stay transparent on other pages than the main one?

You can use a video from youtube, to LayerSlider, but the video should be able to play on mobile devices.
Check it out, some times videos uploaded do not work to mobile cases.Best regards,

If you just update the theme files, the layout will be the same. The layout can change only if you do import the demo layout again.
