Okay, thanks for your help Rikard.
Hi Rikard,
I used this last CSS, which didn’t add white space by itself. But when I got into the actual Portfolio item, and edited the Color Section, I was able to click the “Custom top and bottom margin” box and add the margin there. The combination of your CSS and the Color Section change made it appear as I wanted – customizable white space on the mobile version. Looks great now, thanks so much for your help.

Hi Rikard,
I tried out that CSS, but it only makes the color bar taller. It doesn’t add white space below the color bar.Any other thoughts?
Leslie
Thanks, that worked beautifully. Is it possible to keep a little white space after? I tried checking “Custom top and bottom margin” and adding some to the bottom margin, but that didn’t work. Can I add something to the CSS?
Also, the portfolio item that I showed you was my test portfolio item. I do want this CSS applied to all the portfolio items.
Best,

Yes, thank you for your help. Here is the image: https://barrettstudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Image-1.jpg
The Color Section is the red bar, and below there is a lot of white space.

I’m curious about your response to this question, so I’m posting my site credentials in the private window. The specific webpage referenced there is the portfolio item that I have changed so that the mobile appearance is better. Basically, I am hiding some of the elements in the left column (back to Work, Related Projects and the associated white separators) on mobile so that the mobile user can get right to the project description after seeing the images in Easy Slider. There is the unfortunate white space after the Color Section on mobile – that is what I would like to remove. Everything looks fine on desktop.I am viewing the mobile on an iPhone if that makes any difference.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers, Leslie

I found this CSS and it works great:
.post-entry .big-preview{ display: none !important; }
Thanks for your help understanding the new system.

February 20, 2019 at 6:21 pm in reply to: Default Editor: Featured image showing at top of post #1069603Hi Victoria,
Thanks for your quick reply! Are you saying that, when using the Default Editor, it is not possible to get rid of the featured image at the top of the blog post? Ideally, I would like to use the Default Editor, as the title/name/date all appear correctly, and the audio player has a nicer look to it. You mentioned the Classic editor, but the only options at the top right of the widow toggle between Default Editor and Advanced Layout Editor.
Best,
